"Real" voice actors are just people with good voices who happened to make that their job. It's definitely a skill, but there are many people who don't currently do it for money who can do just as well.
It's no different from going to an amateur play and seeing someone on stage who outshines the performances you see in movies. Just because someone hasn't made it their career does not mean they aren't going to be good at it.

Drink a potion or eat something: "It's RAW!" "Overcooked, bland, no seasoning" "Disgusting" "Tastes like vomit" and more seldomly "This is actually pretty good" "Delicious"
Pick up a collectable or loot a chest: "It's mouldy you pillock" "I'll have to wash my hands" "Look at all this junk" "Are you seriously going to use that?"
Party member dies: "Cross contamination is no joke!" "If a health inspector saw this you'd be shut down immediately" "Call a healer, now"
You die: "You need to seriously think about what you're doing"
Search: "Where's the lamb sauce!?" "I've never seen such a mess before" "How do you even find anything in this place"

Could be expensive, though.


ON TOPIC: Firegoddess or Gingerspyce from Sarlona. Both have pleasant voices that are easy to understand, are respected players, and I think they'd have something to say.
