So here I was, getting ready to ETR then TR.. Throwing away all the spell ingredients, scrolls, etc.. When I accidentally threw away the 26 Superior Experience Potions that were sitting in my inventory. HOLY COW! What a dummy... It was a little expensive to buy back....

Don't worry about plat, its worthless and easy to come by, i just did a racial life and aquired 1,5 million.

and then going to rehab for a week, so even though you could in theory buy back, you forgot and well now its too late!

Well, maybe not the dumbest thing "In Game". But I did fall asleep at my keyboard waiting for a Shroud run to start back in the day. Woke up 6 hours later. It was only dumb because I knew I was tired and should have just gone to bed :).

But I was made to feel better about it years later when a guildmate not only fell asleep but was pressing his "push-to-talk" button and snoring :). At least I wasn't pressing my "push-to-talk" :).

i think mine was tossing out a supreme +4 tome and forgetting to get it back. i really was special then. i've deleted mules that had gear that i worked hard to get all gone just like that. deleted a toon that had tomes in its inventory/bank. another mule that i collected the stuff over the years.

I once wrecked an Epic R3 VoN 6.

I went to the wrong base. I was at air, thought I was at ice. When people were asking if Ice was ready, I kept replying with incorrect info from the wrong base. Nobody could figure out why our timing was messed up. Finally I realized I was at the wrong base and left. Everyone at ice was dead and the bridges were starting to break. I tried to throw out some rezzes, went around to try to help fire because they were pretty much wiped by this point too, but it was too little too late. Now, the group as a whole probably wasn't up to the task of R3, but I was certainly the icing on that fail cake.

I don't know if anyone in the group realized what I had done.

Deleted xp pots also except I didn't have the money to buy them back. The good part was it was a server I didn't have a character on and was only making an iconic to grind 50 favor. The 5 30%? pots from I think one of the expansion would only matter if I ever wanted to play there. 3-4 years later I never have so no worries. I took a screenshot of it in case I ever want to put in a ticket but no need.

I think any time you try a jump and forgot that you didn't switch on your feather fall item is a funny dumb moment.
Or those times that you die and then after releasing you take off a con item.

My dumbest thing was not a one time event, but a play style I prescribed to for years... Called "Alts". From 2009-2016. On my main server I had 22 toons and only 2 were mules. I had between 2-10 toons on every other server.

About 2 years ago I finally settled on one character on one server. I think he is on his 16th life now, with 15 heroic/9 epic/5 iconic past lives.

The dumbest thing I ever did was leaving a +3 Heart of Wood to rot in a chest. I opened the chest to see an unbound Heart, which ofc is very **** rare, and so I took a screenshot. Then I tabbed to the screenshots folder and renamed it to Heart.jpg or something to find it easier later. Then I went back to the game and finished out of the quest. Yes FO'd without actually looting the chest. Oops. (Reaper so couldn't re-enter.)
