Extra favored enemy

Hi.

Ranger forums are dead, so am trying to post here.

In the in-game DWS description of Extra favored enemy in the enhancement tree, it states you get two extra damage from each favored enemy.

Is that on top of the base 2 damage you get for each favored enemy ?

No information on the wiki for Extra favored enemy.

Essentially, you get +2 dmg for each favored enemy feat to ALL favored enemies regardless of how you acquired those favored enemy feats (class/race/enhancements/epic destiny).

As stated I obviously looked at the wiki before posting here.

This does not answer my question.

Do the two stack ?

Are you asking if you take this enhancement will you suddenly receive 4 damage per favored enemy feat? then NO. It is additive not multiplicative. DWS is adding +1 favored enemy feat therefore you receive +2 damage per favored enemy feat you have so far acquired.

No matter where you get the favored enemy feats... 5 from class ranger, +1 from Deepwood Sniper enhancement, +1 from gnome racial enhancements (for example), +1 from Vistani enhancements, + 1 from Harper enhancements (assuming there is enough AP to include all these enhancement trees) +1 from Primal Avatar Epic Destiny = 10 Favored enemy feats = +20 damage to ALL favored enemies included in those feats. I highly doubt you can get them all though.

Just add up all your favored enemy feats and multiply by two.

No. The description is merely restating how FE feats work, not adding a separate bonus.

If you had "read" the Wiki instead of merely "looking" at it, you would have seen an example (under Notes) that shows that 9 Favored Enemies (including 1 from DWS) =- +18 bonus to damage.

That does, in fact, answer your question.
