I want to make an artificer but I'm not really a fan of crossbows, nor am I all that into wielding a weapon.

I think it would be really cool if you could dual wield rune arms, like having two arm cannons sorta like Iron Man.

Thank you!

They can't, but I just watched Black Panther again last night & Shuri is awesome, so I'm 100% in favour of this being a thing

Back when holy weapon applied to shields, I so wanted to dual wield shields. But they said no to that too.

Currently a Rune Arm can only be wielded with certain weapons (you need the rune arm hand for support, so those that require full 2-handed usage are out) and only one (rune arm or weapon) can be actively used at a time.
If they made wielding 2 runearms possible, there would need to be logical consequences... only one actively used at a time or roll a balance check to avoid falling over, as you have no way to easily brace yourself (then add the Dual-Rune Arm feat, to give a bonus to the balance check); slower potion use, as you don't have hands free in the same way (taking off a runearm would be a lot more time consuming than sheathing a sword, andd your hands are completely unfree in the meantime); slower swapping of items, unless you take of a runearm first (rings could might the exception, as they could theoretically be stored inside the runearm for easy slipping on and off).

Be careful of what you wished for. There could be *coughs* flying warforged or artificer monsters firing the dual rune arms back at you if this were true.

As an artificer, you're already getting radiation in your one arm. Don't push your luck.

yay!! heavy machinegun! screw balance, pots delay, it doesn't matter! you do it with the power of the runes! XD

just to bring some fairness... you should not be able to use the same runearm x2

in fact i would be more annoying and do it something like "complementary elements" so for example if you use 1 fire runearm the other must be ice

just for the sake of lols

I was wondering on this front... would the Ice Imbue add to the Fire Rune Arm's Damage and vice versa, or would it counteract and reduce the damage?

No, and no.
