Boosting your level 24 hireling

Hi.

Is there anyway to boost your rogue hireling at level 24 to open locks in level 26 dungeons and up ?

Or is it even worth it to boost him, or like other rogues, you can keep trying to open the lock over and over
until you succeed ?

Got a bard? Sing inspire competence + inspire excellence + Greater Heroism should enable that hireling rogue to do the traps better.

If you have GH, do that first and retry.

The Epic Roderic's Wand, Kindred Pendant, Legendary Kindred Pendant, and Necklace of Mystic Eidolons all grant the Augmented Summoning (http://ddowiki.com/page/Augment_Summoning) feat.

As mentioned above, Greater Heroism (http://ddowiki.com/page/Heroism_(enchantment)) will also help. You may cast it from a scroll, use a potion on your hire, or use a magic item. The DDO Wiki is incomplete. I will find the item you want.

Edit: The Planar Gird (http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Planar_Gird) allows casting Greater Heroism once per day.

You can directly cast buffs like Greater Heroism or Cat's Grace on him. Anything that will boost Dexterity, Ability Score, or Skill Checks will help.

You can grab an item (Heroic/Epic Kindred Pendant, Epic Roderic's Wand, or Necklace of the Eidolon) that grant the Augment Summoning feat.

You can slot the Cry of Battle Filligree set into your sentient gem, although it's currently know to be broken. (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/493437-Cry-of-Battle-set-bonus-not-working?p=6059521&viewfull=1#post6059521)

You can take feats like Augment Summoning, or select enhancements that buff summons/hirelings, or pick your ED's for it (Magister T5 for instance).

You can get PL's as a Druid.

Cat's Grace or Fox's Cunning won't help on a level 24 hireling. They are already wearing at least +6 gear and the spell won't stack.

yes

3x druid past life = +6 to all stats
harper tree = +4 to all stats
guilds buffs = +2 to all stats
filigree set from Ravenloft chains ( cry of battle) +8 to all stats
epic destiny can boost pets and hires also i.e Magister or Primal avatar
Augment summoning +4 to all stats
Improved augment summoning (level 24) +8 to all stats

+32 to all stats


spells and bard/cleric/arcane buffs , heroism,greater heroism, inspire competence, prayer, and more

my druid wolf can get to 80+ on STR and CON, thanks to the above and they apply to hires....

though we don't know what stats the hires have such as Int or Dex but whatever they are +32 helps
