Beak! I am so happy you are looking to run this. However, I already have a quiver on one of my characters. I'd be more than willing to roll up a character - and if you give me a few days, precisely 5-6 days, I would like to join you as I am looking for more character(s) in the Epic range to run raids instead of True Reincarnating my main character and missing out on the raids and what not. I will have an Aasimar Cleric at level 16-18 with a completed sigil in a week or so, and would be willing to run at certain days! I am available everyday from 3pm-10pm Eastern.

Generally I am online 6pm-midnight most days longer on weekends lately.

If you post a specific time and day when you'll be running, I might jump in with two alts just for fun. 6pm to midnight works for me, but I'd only be logging in to join your raid so I'd need a specific time to log in.

I don't need anything from the raid for either alt (they both already have upgraded quivers) and would be happy to pass anything I pull.

EDIT: To clarify, the second alt is from my dualbox account, a level 15 who dies immediately and then raises for the end chest. My main doesn't have great dps but is super survivable. I have every confidence that we can easily 2-man it, which I've done many times.

I would be interested in joining, the last time I ran the quest was in 2011 and all I have ever done is throw rocks :(. I seem to remember a buddy saying that his quiver was somehow BtA? If everything is BtC I could flag an alt I have sitting at 30 just for the knowledge and experience of running it. Main's name is "Neurik", alt that I use to farm Slavers/Ravenloft is "Deepfried"

I ran ~4-6 runs last night. And I'm definitely looking to run more! Happy to burn timers with people who have them and just want to hit that 20th benchmark, or have people drop in for one run and head out.

Ellis, how does scheduling a run Wednesday at 9pm EST work for you? (Invite open to everyone else as well - obviously.)

As to the quiver, I'm not certain about it being BTA - perhaps the event ones given away were BTA? I suspect that it will be BTC, because it's a raid though I am by no means an expert.

I suspect that it will be BTC, because it's a raid though I am by no means an expert.It's a bug, I think. Something about putting BTA ammo into it makes it BTA, but it's not quite as simple as that. I've tried putting BTA ammo into one but it stayed BTC. Not that it mattered, since I grabbed a quiver on all my alts during the 10th anniversary give-away. I would never have run the raid at all except I needed a dozen or so seals to upgrade all my quivers, and could only manage to cobble together around five from shield and tome turn-ins.

Pretty sure I can make Wednesday at 9pm est work. I did check and my level 30 seed farmer is flagged (20 pure enlightened spirit tanky warlock). I would prefer to grab the quiver on my main who just hit 20 on her 3rd sorc life, I was going to TR her but maybe I'll flag and level up in epics until Wednesday. Will check out the guide before then, thanks.

No worries Ellis, we had some good runs last night...Ilmeth got his quiver (and confirmed that the 20th completion loot list does reshuffle with an epic TR), Nostro got his sword. Had a total of 8 completions with as few as two people and as many as 6. Thanks for the runs, need 3 more for 20 myself!!

Key for solo is to blind run on edge between tiles with wings (gimp DPS in Exalted), and use ultimatum to not get petrified! (switch it in every 15 seconds or so).

I'll still be helping people out next week. Usual time, 9:30 or so.

Awesome job, it was fun running with you, thanks for all the help and friendly runs. We ended up getting 4-5 people quivers and I snagged my litany too thanks to your pass. In honor of the new gear I TRd into an iconic pale master so I could finish my 3rd Wiz life and make use of the Abbot cloak :). Thanks again, I will be away this weekend but back the next one if people still need help with runs as I have a lvl 30 warlock who is flagged.

hi guys, I happened to see this thread. If any of you are still interested in running heroic ascension chamber, send me a PM or reply to this existing thread. Let me know what time would work out best for the raid.

I am on eastern coast time, so evening time would work out best for me - something like 8-10 pm est on Thursday or Fridays, although I can be a bit flexible.
If there is enough interest we could try running the heroic abbot twice a week even, but let us start with seeing if there is still any interest.

I only got the full sigil frame yesterday, so I am going to be running the 4 litanies tonight.

If you can, let me know what your level of experience is in running the heroic abbot, since it would be nice if I had an additional person to help in the tiles puzzle room.

we happened to get enough people after running the litanies to run the heroic abbot raid; we will be running the raid again, I think tentatively next Friday evening if anyone else is interested in joining.

we ran the ascension chamber raid 3 times today, and a quiver of alacrity did drop on the last run. The second run was a wipe.

these were short-manned with 6 people, and unfortunately the second run was a wipe.

we will try again next saturday evening.

Glad to hear it! So I haven't gotten my sigil completed on the druid but I did get it complete on my warlock and my wife's druid is 2 pieces short of complete which we should get this week hopefully. Then we will work on our 4 litanies to be ready. We are 18 warlock and 16/2 druid/rogue.

hi everyone - just an update that the heroic abbots are still being run on saturdays, and will be run twice a week:

10 pm est - look for brobraiding's lfm

10:30 pm est - 2nd run will be hosted by vortri/venatori

if you want to have a spot saved, you can send an in-game mail to brobraiding or to vortri.

if you need help flagging (getting the sigil pieces to complete your frame and/or running the litany of the dead pre-raid quest 4x), you can leave a reply to this thread.

this coming saturday april 6th, we will try running an earlier run at 7pm est, followed by the regular 10pm est, and we will see if there is any interest in the earlier start time.

Any class is fine. Some people prefer to be in the Divine Crusader epic destiny with Heavenly Presence, to avoid being encased in rock by the Abbot. Also, having an item that gives you Quell Immunity (Epic Glimpse of the Soul) is good if Quell affects you. Items with Spell Absorption also are good vs the Abbot's Inferno ability. Potions of Remove Curse (which everyone should carry) are also good for removing the Inferno damage over time. If you can help out in any of the puzzle rooms that would be cool. If you're new to the raid we will run you through it. The first time in can be confusing, but you'll get the gist after the first run.
