Bug: cant enter into Sarlona - Cleaning up old connection

The loading screen would not load us back into Amrath. Client crashed.


I tried to log back in and could not get passed the "Cleaning up old Connection" loading screen just prior to Character Selection. I let it run for over an hour and it didnt work.

I can log into other Accounts. I can log into another server. I can't log into my server.

have you tried going to ebberron or far realms from the login screen? may help

Another possibility is to choose a different server. At one point in the past this helped me resolve the issue of a hanging "Cleaning up old connection..."


Edit: Hmmm, I missed that you mentioned you already tried that.

Game precatches game logic, i log in and then launcher cant clean up old connection so i cant access to char select screen.

I had this happen last thursday night and it didnt let me back in til the restart this past tuesday

3 in game tickets couldnt resolve it and the support website didnt respond til after it was back to normal

Not sure if this will help but here is what the guy replied to me with

"if you ever get stuck on cleaning up old connection in the future, I would recommend bringing up the task manager by pressing ctrl+alt+del, selecting dndclient, and click on end task.
Then close the launcher as well, restart the launcher and try connecting again.
You may have to repeat this process a few times but that will typically fix it"
