Shadow training II... where'd who go?

I've mostly quit using this. I tried many times to use it to get out front and scout and pick off casters, but it doesn't work.

What happens is that I speed out, get auto-found because I'm in stealth and then the mobs and I pass each other like a scene from Top Gun.
