Slarden proposed the above split for a handaxe swashbuckler to run in LD in the following thread. I would be interested in knowing how people with more build experience than myself would construct such a split.

The thread is several weeks old but jic you are still looking for ideas ...
My FVS vistani swashie build for heroic rTR: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/492465-Favored-Vistani-Swashbuckler-An-easy-fvs-PL If that needed to be iconic then you are kinda outta luck as forgotten realms iconics have no finessable weapons as deity-favored (ignoring deity weapons with this much fvs is not the best idea, imo). The good news though is that this build is easy to play through heroics with from 1-20.
If I HAD to make a build for Iconic FVS melee, it would prolly be a PDK char -> dmg, Helm B-sword, SWF, T5 kensei, 12 fvs / 8 ftr type of thing. I never bothered to design one though as I did my PDK lives as a vanguard pally.
Here is a quick layout for wizard. Bit messy since I didn't see it was supposed to be iconic till after I was done making it as a gnome. Set your wizzie metas to w/e you want to support your playstyle. Shield mastery and iSM for better defenses later on. Early in heroics damage is better so enhancements say Dashing scoundrel, swap it to skirmisher when you use a buckler later. You could drop a lot of EK to pick up more T4 & 5 kensei abilities. I don't have cleave in there as this is more of a single target dps build. With shattering strike, strike at the heart, armor pierce gear, and grim precision (not actually sure if they all stack or not) you have decent chance to crit on undead and whatnot.
If you reaper with this, you will want to try to focus on cc, set up your metas/gears accordingly, may or may not work for epic reapers. Without any inherent healing you'll be reliant on group heals and wands/scrolls in the heroic levels (make sure you keep w/sM in EK till you grab coccoon at 20). If you have at least 4 reaper pts, make sure to get the reaper DS boost, makes bosses a lot easier in combination with haste boost.
You can twist w/e you prefer in your ED but Leg. SM is really nice on a swashie build.
Intim, bluff, and diplo are just for opts, raise or lower as desired. Spellcraft is not needed if you aren't tossing damage spells. I took swim to that lvl by 12 jic for an early crucible swim (very easy with that lvl of ins. reflexes and swim skill + mermaid spell or swim item). Edit: oops iconic, guess that would be a LATE crucible swim, still very fast xp if you do a r/e cruci &/or saga run.
