I purchased the base pack for my main account, but haven't bought it for my secondary account. If I buy either of the above bundles, can I use the add-on code on my main account? If so, would that add the hireling to my main account?

With the ultimate package I received 3 codes which I pre-ordered. Based on this I would say no but I honestly don't remember.

My recollection is that the hireling came with the main code and the "survivor package" was just some mirrors of glamouring and maybe some cakes or the like.

I'm wondering what discounts we can get if we upgrade our standard edition to one of the other editions?

I wish they would allow us to upgrade at a later date. It's more money for them and we get the things we couldn't afford on the original purchase.

I think someone said they could do this, but it requires a call to customer service. A built-in upgrade option would be smart.

You sort of can upgrade. Sort of. I got the Shadowfell expansion a while ago. When Shadowfell went on a deep sale, I noticed that the DDO Marketplace package that includes the Epic Tome of Learning (XP bonus) was actually cheaper than buying an XP tome in the DDO Store. So I bought the Shadowfell super deluxe package even though I had the basic Shadowfell package. Some of that was wasted, but it was still more cost effective than just buying the Epic XP tome.
