Guess they got tired of all that angry clicking, curses, etc. and no share of the loot that was worth massively more than their crummy contract.

Most of the hirelings I've seen were over paid. Not to mention a lot of them get paid well just for pulling a lever:)

So you've figured out how to assassinate NPCs in public areas. Well done.
Please PM me the details, I have some scores to settle with annoying quest-givers.
Thanks.

Heh heh, good one.
I was more thinking of the surprisingly large number of quest givers who talk down to us, or make fun of us, or trick us, or are even outright rude, secure in the knowledge they have us on a string and there's no way we can ever get back at them.
Those are the guys that deserve a pointy reckoning.
Thanks.

Now I'm picturing a large crowd of hirelings with signs on strike in front of a coin lord office.

Now I'm picturing a large crowd of hirelings with signs on strike in front of a coin lord office. They're all occupying the House Cannith airship tower, as an act of civil disobedience and defiance. (Hirelings never were very bright.)

I've lately been wondering why they they haven't been keeping up in quests, just standing around, running away, ...
Guess they got tired of all that angry clicking, curses, etc. and no share of the loot that was worth massively more than their crummy contract.
