So did the damage on-miss portion effects of Riposte get removed without player notification?

I'm seeing a lot of the Riposte effects being just the same as Parrying now.

As far as I can remember, it's been this way since MotU release. When they updated CC, they removed the last vestiges of the "damage on miss."

So why even have Riposte slapped onto one of the Ravenloft items?

Do they just plan to work it out and retroactively add it back in the future for the items they think "You know what this might need the damage on miss effect after all"?

I am afraid they do not know it is broken, and think it is a good ability to have :rolleyes:
