I went from Premium to VIP last month and Steelstar not only nerfed my Monk, he personally came to my house and beat me with jumper cables while Cordovan watched. What gives, Turbine/SSG?

Simple answer which they will never admit to - they don't want to make it easy for people to buy packs, classes, races at a discount when on sale so they can easily dump vip at some future point. If they are going to dump vip they are going to pay full price for most things or wait it out,.

There is obviously no technical limit that couldn't be easily overcome. If it helps keep the lights on - eh- I get it.

I would have liked to continue the discussion about the actual topic from the original necroed thread, that being VIPs cannot purchase content from the store due to being granted free access to it via that subscription.

...instead the actual topic was ignored and now we have this thread that so far is just people whipping out their hate-boners. That's fine I guess, you're doing it somewhat creatively... though Turbine is no longer affiliated with DDO, so perhaps this should be in the off-topic section now instead.
