UPDATE: The game worlds have reopened. Thank you!

The DDO game worlds will be unavailable from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Eastern (-5 GMT) on Tuesday, March 20th to release a small update to the game. This update corrects an issue with guild chests and the Mimic Hunt, and makes a minor performance update.

By "issue" do you mean guild chests turning into CR 27 mimics? I wish you would leave it alone -- it is hilarious!

-4 GMT. Greenwich hasn't gone to daylight savings time yet. The US started doing daylight savings time a couple weeks early about a decade ago.

GMT doesn't change. However, you are correct, Greenwich doesn't move to BST until 25th :)

Are you going to fix the Warlocks power word "STOP IT! You're hurting me!" on the airship?

It's as gimped as eldritch blast and every other spell on the ship while a mimic is chewing your face off. Although, calling the entire guild together to raid the ship against a CR 41 mimic isn't something you can do everyday ;)

Bleh, I thought Europe switched clocks last weekend. So it's this weekend?

I have always envisioned guild only raids by using the deck of many things. you win a small keep only if your guild can kill the raid boss.
and then repair a crafting device
allowing your guild to craft items your guild could sell for shards or plat.
with a dock for your guild ship.
since that will never happen guild loot whipping on you is pretty funny.

The launcher wasn't automagically downloading the new update, simply confirming the worlds were open, trying access and then kicking me out again, stating "You don't have the latest game configuration" (or words to that effect).

I turned off "automatically check for update" (in the drop-down under "Options"), closed the launcher, reopened, changed the setting back, closed again and re-opened - and now it's downloading.

Just on the off chance anyone else has the same problem.

When Europe changes to daylight saving is irrelevant - from the standpoint of "Boston time", it only matters when Boston changed to EDT. According to several official time-keeping websites, Boston is currently "UTC -4hrs" (Link (https://time.is/New_York)). While "UTC" is, for all intents and purposes, the 'same' as "GMT", many people seem confused when "GMT" is used - they think that "GMT" refers to the local time in Greenwich, England. It does not (go look up any discussion of "UTC", "GMT", "Zulu-time", etc.). Hence "-4 GMT" is correct. Using "UTC" *should* help with the confusion...in theory, at least.

UTC vs. GMT (https://codeofmatt.com/2014/06/18/utc-vs-gmt/)

Of course, you can always use "Zulu" instead of either. (Some people may even think using "Zulu" would sound cooler...)
;)

I vote for Zulu time :-) !
