Hi guys,

I just picked up the Duality today and noticed that the Vapirism is not working on it. It looks like this was a reported bug in Dec. do I need to wait for the next update for this to work? I know they are being nerfed, but it would be nice if the healing worked on these.

Thanks!
Nico

Nevermind...it works...just not on undead...haha. Jumped the gun

Ok, so it works sporadically. Going to resurrect this thread...I see 4-12 HPs healed once every few hits. It says Vampirism as well, but it does not appear to procure on every hit like I thought it would. any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,.
Nico

There's a hidden cooldown in all the newer vampirism effects (I think all the ones that give an xdx amount as opposed to the older "lesser" and "greater vampirism). Sadly that means that the only useful vampirism items are the older ones like epic chaosblade which in are very dated in other ways (and often extremely hard to acquire).

Maybe there were performance issues relating to the older "every hit" vampirism items because they really weren't over powered from a balance perspective.

So unfortunately this is almost certainly WAI.

sad but true- they have a internal cooldown rather than on hit as clearly stated in their description. Cannith crafted items also have this ICD
Ivy wraps however, do not have an ICD and are on hit as stated

ok, that makes sense, but yeah, the description is a tad misleading...oh well, I usually just flip to my triple Pos LGS wraps for legendary affirmation anyway, but thought maybe I wouldn't have to. thanks for the input!
