I would buy one. but I didn't buy Ultimate Fan Bundle of Ravenloft which grants Racial AP Tome, as It makes me felt unnecessary that the tome is given to "every character" even I play only one.
So, SSG, Will we have it? or will you put it exclusive to the bundle forever?

And let a cash cow go unmilked? Not likely ;) The question my friend is "when," not "if."
Edit:
Given the recent decline in whale population, I'm gonna follow that up with a "probably sooner than later"

And isn't it weird that the tome drop rate decreased sharply after they put tomes in the store? To the point where the only real way to get tomes is now just by buying them?
Looks like those "pay to win" doomsayers were right after all.

Just put automatic past lives in the store. People would buy them. Heroic Ottos are pretty close, Epic Ottos fall pretty far from the mark.

I assume they will eventually eventually as they weren't listed as "exclusive." Probably 9-12 months after the ravenloft package one came out though so you might have to be patient.

The drop rates decreased several years after tomes first showed up in the store. It happened during one of the random loot updates.

This. not everything is an evil plot to force you to pay.
There was actually a time when tomes dropped like candy too, you couldn't run vale without getting multiple +2 or +2to3ups tomes in the endlists.

I don't think it's an evil plot. I don't think it's a plot at all. It's just a natural outcome of this kind of thing. There's a gradual creep over the course of years where pay-for-content gradually turns into pay-to-skip-grind when "pay to win"* is introduced and there is an active financial incentive to introduce/increase the grind for desired items/perks that the company can sell directly through the store.
It's not evil. It just the way things naturally change over time when "pay to win" is accepted as the new business model.
*"pay to win" is the shorthand referring to a business decision to allow players to pay real world money for items/powers/etc that give direct power in game instead of only having those items/powers/etc available through game play. "Pay-to-avoid-playing" is another way to phrase that, but "pay to win" is how it was often referred to in 09, so I might as well use that same term.

I like how the 6th poster predicts raid bypass timers and the very next poster responds as if he's being ridiculous.

Yeah I like reading all the arguments claiming +2 tomes for sale wont necessarily lead to +4 tomes for sale in the future, and even if they did it wont negatively affect the game or how its played whatsoever. :p
