Just got 9 party favors for an Anniversary run

Ran the Anniversary Party at level 12. I'm level 7. I've been getting 8 party favors. For some reason, on the past two runs I got 9. I'm certainly not complaining. Just thought it topped out at 8.

IIRC there was a challenge rewards boost that coincided with the end of the last night revels event too, it wouldn't surprise me if the same is happening this weekend & they've simply turned it on 1st thing before they send out the usual notifications for the weekend bonuses.

Best guess is the as of yet announced 20% challenge bonus weekend. I am not complaining either, but with this particular event, the 20% bonus is super trivial. At most, you get one extra favor per run. It does cut down the grind a touch. 50% would be far more appealing. But anything extra is a good thing.

So I just did some extra checking (ran at +10 levels over my level and ran at level as well) and it's +20% of base rewards currently. So at level gives 6 instead of 5. At level +5 (or above) it's giving 9 party favors.

I mis-spoke during yesterday's livestream. I can't find it now, but I did mention that it was off the top of my head since I was streaming at home (due to the snow), and the number might be wrong. Looks like I was correct - right bonus, wrong number.

There is a 20% Challenge Rewards Boost through March 11th. This does add 20% to your Party Favor rewards, rounded down.

Can you please bump it to 25%? That way an 8 party favor run at least becomes a 10 party favor run. One extra party favor on a 20% Challenge Boost weekend is disappointing at best.

the cost of that gem is insane, and I will not pay it. Even if I had the desire to farm it, which I do not have, it would be a matter of principle. :-)

For a final weekend of the ANNIVERSARY event, the bonus should be 50% or even a 100% bonus.

yeah, too many runs for the stupid gem. They could have set a lower price on favors and added vistani tokens for those who have purchased ravenloft

That would have been a good option. I totally understand why the cost is high, but this would have been nice for those who have access but just want the different voice.

well, I was predicting 50% on the last weekend and they did 20%. Close. I think 20% is fair since the folks who grinded before will not blow up in anger at 50%

Weird that guildmate was getting 9 and I was getting 8. Then both of us kept getting only 8 afterwards. Is there something to activate the bonus?
