It would be awesome if the new favored soul trees in someway supported the Silver Flame deity. As of now, there is practically zero bonuses to longbows in either of the current favored soul trees. Thoughts?

I think it would be better to rework the warsoul enhancements a bit to play nicer with longbows.
Right now if I want to be a bowhealer; the best option is pretty much to be a cleric and NOT take silver flame.

Agree 100%, BUT it appears that once again the FVS is getting zero love for some time. It's "in their plans" but we've heard that for like 5 years.

Definitely, Warsoul giving some more love to the favoured weapons would thematically fit while also being useful to anyone who actually wants to be a melee cleric/FvS (War Priest could use it too, so you aren't locked into Splashing, Knives, or War Domain) :)

+5 to hit and damage from the Righteous Weapons in War Soul line is not "practically zero". Granted, the tree doesn't let you smite with the Longbow, but hopefully that will be changed in the War Priest update and War Soul can be updated to match at the same time (given that it renders the first core fairly pointless for Silver Flamers and therefore invalidates other options in the tree that rely on smites).
Silver Flame with Elf gives you up to +9 to hit/damage, and in theory you could branch into Arcane Archer that way. No idea how well that would work, but it's a possibility.

It works decently well but is extremely racial past life dependent because it's SO many racial points to get there. I'm working on it.

Why not? As Elf cleric you can use full 41 AA tree and take silver flame for minor advantages. 8)

Going into AA would help some in that you would be able to get the +1 to critical multiplier with bows, but not until character level 22 with the elven AA tree. The +5/9 to hit and damage is a start, but you can't stay competitive in epics without a boost to your multiplier and range. Every other type of physical attacker (except with the possible exception of the druid animal forms, which is why I'll be going into Vistani or Kensei if/when I do one of those) gets at LEAST a +1 to crit multiplier and crit range. I for one would trade every bit of that +5 to hit/damage for a +1 to crit range and multiplier in a heartbeat, and I'm sure many would agree with that. I don't think that it's a good idea since the + to hit/damage is also a common ability in trees, but in T5 and/or 4th+ core there should be a way to improve the critical profile of your favored weapons.

The Angel of Vengeance tree definitely needs some SLA's: all the other caster trees have them. Where cleric's disciple gets light/negative spells, I think the angel tree should get things like flamestrike, cometfall, maybe give them meteor swarm as a spell in the upper cores, etc. A favored soul just sounds like a 'fire and brimstone' spellcaster.
