Help me Oby-Juan unbongwah (only hope and all that yadayada)

All righty lemme lay out what I am looking for based on the following goals...

Deep Gnome IPL
Paladin HPL
Martial Sphere Karma
Vistani KF T5s, Cores and Capstone
No Hearts so keeping 1Wiz
TWFa
Lots of Dodge
Good Saves

Have all +5 Tomes, no Completionist

This main-alt is accumulating RPLs as Warlock & EPLs for Epic Completionist. I have one more Martial EPL to do.

I have tossed many ideas around starting with 1Wiz/5Cleric(Trickery)/14 Paladin with Zeal or Holy Sword (not sure if it's bonuses work with VKF) In LD AND not sure about the animation using Lay Waste and Momentum swing. Regular TWF animation with those feels slow and cumbersome and I hate it.

So kinda threw the one above to the back.

What I am narrowing my focus down to is something like...

1Wiz/4Monk/15Paladin Dex Build in Shadowdancer
1Wiz/5Rogue/14Paladin Dex Build in Shadowdancer

Your thoughts on these?

Disclaimer: I don't own Vistani so this will have to be theorycrafting since I don't have a way to test my own builds.

Zeal should stack with Vistani bonuses; Holy Sword does not.

My first thought was something more monk-based: like some combo of monk 6-9 / wiz 1-5 / pal 8-10. At least monk 6 for Shadow Veil and +30 MP from Henshin cores; monk 9 if you want Imp Evasion though obviously that means at least 9 pal lvls too. Extra wiz lvls get you more buffs and possibly EK defensive bonuses: more AC/PRR from Imp Mage Armor + Shield, Arcane Barrier for emergencies.

EDIT: I had considered pal 10 / wiz 7 / monk 3 running in vamp form; but apart for the lulz of an undead paladin, I don't know that you could keep yourself unhealed with only 7 wiz lvls.

I'll have to mull it over while the caffeine kicks in... :cool:

That sounds like a winner but the Enh split lol. I have 2 RAP, so could do 41 VKF, 11 NiS, 11 HeM, 7 EK, 6 SaD, 1 Shintao and 5 for DG Cores.

Max Dex, Con>Cha>Int for Concentration/Balance/Heal/UMD/Hide (if Scion of Ethereal but skills get stretch thin)

10 Heroic Feats: TWFx3, IC Pierce, PA, Cleave, GCleave, Greater & Ultimate Stances and Precision
4 Epic Feats OC, PTWF, Blinding Speed, PTHF
Scion of Arborea or Maybe Astral

I mean, for Heroic paly life, I just use Tilo's build I have only tested it on an iconic, but I just rofl stomped through H/E ON A FIRST LIFE BANK MULE. I didn't go higher because it's a bank mule, and also it does not have 3 cleric lives and a bunch of other stuff.

If you need to do an iconic Paly Past life, go 5 wiz at least for Displacement. I'd probably do 6/14. Robes aint worth it, my tree in robes is significantly more like to get ganked in Reaper than my Lock in medium armor.

Go medium armor, you won't be a tank, and get displacement, and extend, and run with it. You can get displacement from the Archmage enhancement tree though at Wiz 3. I do not have any experience with this, does it use your caster level or character level? I expect the former, which is why I would just as soon get to a reasonable wizard level. This would allow you also to go undead, but I fail to see the benefit for you, but you can take wraith, which is 25%. I guess it might be worth it occasionally.


But....my ultimate vote goes to 1 wiz, 5 lock, 14 paladin. You have so many enhancement choices there you can tailor your character for whatever you need (expensive).
