Since +7 tomes are permanently available, why doesn't the sale apply? Is this typical operating procedure? How long before we get a break? Talk about being nickel and dimed!

In my experience sales tend to be on items needing to be cleared. If +7 tomes are selling well then there is probably no need to put them on sale.

I dont recall seeing Ottos Boxes being discounted either. Though it may have happened.

SSG doesn't need to clear any items. It's not like they can run out of tomes (of any type). SSG can create more faster than you can buy them.

Right, but if no-one buys them then it makes sense to put them on sale because its basically 100% profit regardless of the price.
