Even my friends say "This game is sh!t, because we can't chat in Korean."
I can't play DDO with my friends, can't attract them, nope. My guildies say too.

so, please, Can we get chat with font supporting languages? Using them only in party/guild chat is OK... I don't hope even in Zone chat.

At this time we have no plans to offer additional language support in the in-game chat UI, although we agree that offering it in Korean (along with other languages) would be great.

Thats from 2016 and probably answers everything already.

Props for persistence. I think it might help to bring in more players. As for a plan B, have you tried using something like discord?

I assume what's needed is a font that includes all characters and accented characters from all language sets.
I suspect if it was as simple as finding a font that did this (and making it the default) then it would have already been done. This suggests that the chat servers are calling on the same character base as other bits of the system and there are limitations somewhere on the number of characters within a font. If this is the case, SSG may not have the resources to update all systems for the compatibility required for using such a font.
This scenario was one we faced at a place I used to work... it took a lot more work to implement certain characters due to limitations throughout the infrastructure... fixing it was a long task, but once all areas had been addressed, further updates to add other characters were then a case of just adding the updated listings.
If it is an undertaking of this nature, and SSG lack the resources, the benefits of having the compatibility added could outweigh the costs of implementation.
