EDIT: AA doesn't work with xbows at all.

Now my question is whether mechanic is that much better than BE.

Looks like they nerfed it.

Looks like you put a lot of time and thought in to your build, sorry.

Meh. Didn't come up on google, probably should have read the patch notes.

That said, if I am going to do an xbow build, how yo mechanic and ME compare?

This long-standing "bug" was fixed a couple updates ago. Many bemoaned its passing (some bitterly), but most accepted that it was coming sooner or later.

Mech has better DPS than BE, hands down. However, Arti's do provide some bells and whistles that make life easier (conjure bolts, a pet, spells, etc.). Ymmv which is "better" overall, for you, but Mech yields better DPS.

Is it generally worth using at least 4 arty for endless fusillade? You lose the +2 crit mult, but idk if it is worth it.

+2 crit mult on a base 18-20 weapon is HUGE. Fusillade is awesome for a BE, but that's because their DPS is based off repeaters that benefit from it the most.

True but fusilade is awesome not only on a repeater. You can decrease the penalty by taking 6 fighter levels and +1 crit multiplier from Kensei. So something like 4 Arti/6 Fighter/6 Rogue and the rest from any class you prefer. Enhancements can be a bit tight especially if you take KTA but workable. Just try a life with and without fusilade and decide yourself :)

you are limited to 3 classes. look up slardens repeater build - 12f/6a/2r or monk

If you're talking about great crossbows, I would definitely stick with rog 18-20 builds: the combination of Expert Builder (+2 crit multiplier), Sniper (+2[W], +3d6 SA, vorpal on 19-20), and Mechanical Reloader (+30% Ranged Alacrity) is just too good to pass up, IMO. So on a pure rogue the AP spread is something like 41-44 Mechanic / 25 Assassin (Killer + SA Training) / 3 Acrobat (Fast Movement) / 8-11 Harper (KtA, extra RP or INT).

Endless Fusillade costs a minimum of 24 APs; another 3 APs gets you +10% Doubleshot from Agility Engine. Which is pretty good, actually, but at that point you might as well take tier-5 BE (+1 crit range, +20 RP, +10% run speed) for another 7 APs, which requires at least 5 arty lvls. So if I'm going beyond the traditional arty 2 splash for Endless Fusilade, I'm probably going to go to at least arty 6 for lvl 3 spells and lvl 6 BE core (another +5 PRR for only 1 AP).

When it comes to repeaters, though, there's more flexibility with build options, since Expert Builder is "just" +1 crit multiplier for them, which is also available from Strike w/No Thought (ftr 6). Rog 12 / ftr 6 / arty 2 or rog 8 / ftr 6 / arty 6 are viable alternatives, depending on exactly what AP spread you plan to use.

Heh. Sorry if you misunderstood somehow but I meant you can get the remaining 4 levels in any of the 3 classes already listed. After running a couple of lives with fusilade I wouldn't return to no-fusilade option even if I take some dps hit.
