So the group I run with is 2 warlocks and a monk. Now the monk is super beast, he only dies when there is just more then +5 mobs or so on reaper +4 and above. The two warlocks are skilled players that are building their characters pretty fast. I run a mech rogue 18/2 arti. I am alot of firepower but I notice that the three of us just die ALL the time. The warlocks use the Destiny that gives the AE heal but its not enough.

I am thinking of going something that has more healing power. I feel like if can keep the two warlocks alive that dps wont be an issue and we stop finding ourselves always watching the monk kill stuff.

So help me pick.

I MUST still be the rogue. (search, disable). I also only prefer great crossbow or repeaters....or spells for DPS. I do not like melee.

So where are some of my thoughts. I want to be able to go in together on 5+ reaper *new content*.

So I am thinking of making a 15 cleric/5 rogue build. 5 rogue so i can max the mech tree and 15 cleric so I can heal like a champ. My dps will be much lower but we will still stay alive. MY DC's suck thou so will be pure healer and Mech DPS with some bow cc.

I am really leaning toward a 14 pally/6 rogue build. This way I have the holy sword for the crit mod, good heals with serious wounds (they all have a lot of healing amp) and a lot of saves/group buffs. Also can give Zeal to the monk.

I am also thinking of a 18/2 Arti or a full 20 arti. My healing would be in the form of mixture potion throwing. I still do decent dps/have some CC with spells/and can heal with serious and cure critical potions. Also provide deadly weapons to the monk and myself.

My group won't be changing their classes .

Is there any other options that I am missing? I am curious about bard as well but not much experience with it. I am not a fan of classes where I have to activate things all the time and have a million things on my bars. Casting spells I dont consider activating...I mean micro managing times every 30 seconds ect.

Let me know what you think or if have better options

Thanks

I have +7 tome, Lots of epic pastlifes/H pastlives. And a lot of otto boxes to get more if needed.

You don't really need a dedicated healer - between Heal Scrolls and moves like Rejuvinating Cocoon, the party should try to look out for each other. CC is a huge help - Evard's is one of the most powerful CCs in the game as it works against most creatures and triggers every two seconds so can snag mobs outside of the cast or got a lucky save. They also have other options with charming (which can be OP in Reaper) and holds and dancing ball for Fey. The Warlocks building up their Conjuration and/or Enchantment can go a long way to making the quest easier. My own Warlock is very squishy, but due to reliable CC does not really struggle in low to mid Reaper unless I get unlucky immune crown spawns. The Monk should be able to Jade any Reapers to help as well.

Beyond what others can do, there is yourself. You have several options depending on your favored playstyle. You can do trap CC to help as an 18 R / 2 Arti and utilize either GXbow knockdowns or Repeater procs (paralyzing and/or shiradi venom) with Pin and/or Otto Whistler. If you go the heavy Arti route instead, Tactical Detonation is a great CC. Arti Infusions are also helpful, though can be difficult to use. On either Arti or Rogue you can invest into Scroll Mastery (arti's bonus to scroll level is <3) and let yourself fall into a support role when needed. I have a 18 Rogue / 2 Arti myself and have had many times where I had to kite with a scroll to heal the party up or raise. Between being the safety of ranged (kiting ftw!) and having Pin or Otto at your disposal for a no-save CC when a scary monster is chasing you, survival should be readily achievable. If you're still struggling, you can look at survival options you may have missed.

There are some good threads and YouTube channels about improving your Reaper survivability. There is also an old thread that has useful info, and one of my comments details consumables you can gather to make your life easier: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/488501-Reaper-Check-List
