This is a recent bug for me - the game and my system have been working perfectly for 10 years.
What is happening now is that my Function keys are no longer working as per the DDO mapping but are now using their media control functions. (F1 mutes all speakers, F2 lowers speaker volume, F3 raises speaker volume, F5 is play/pause, F6 is stop, ect).
I often listen to itunes while playing and this is getting very irritating as I cannot select myself or party members for spells, interaction or anything, really, and instead screw with the volume or the song being played. I have verified that the DDO key mapping is still the same: F1 selects yourself, F2 selects 1st party member, etc.
I can not tell if this is a DDO issue or a Windows issue.
Has anyone else had this issue before? Any ideas?
Not sure if it is related but I am also getting an increase of random game crashes where the game just exits and shuts down.
I am running Windows 8.1, 64 bit OS. Updates are automatic so I should be on the latest version (most recent update was 12/1/2017).
I am using a Razer Anansi keyboard.
