First order of business: where the heck does the loot drop?

This one is less helpful... I'm sorry. I got it yesterday in the end chest of one of the first 3 quests (I know it had to be one of them because this was the only chest based named item I picked up yesterday) and that was all I ran. All Heroic Hard so far.

Didn't screenshot at the time, but into the mist end chest drops Con cloak, Tactic belt, Blur finger gloves, small shield, and another cloak.

Saw light armor in bonegrinder end chest.

I'd love to see some updates to the wiki for the quests themselves.

I haven't bought the expansion, but wanted to add the new quests to the Compendium so I could release a new version. As far as I can tell, there is no way to find out what new quests are part of the expansion from wiki. They're not listed in the most obvious place, the Mists of Ravenloft (http://ddowiki.com/page/Mists_of_Ravenloft) page. (They probably should be, or at least a link to a story arc like you can find on the MotU (http://ddowiki.com/page/Menace_of_the_Underdark) and Shadowfell (http://ddowiki.com/page/Shadowfell_Conspiracy) pages.) Speaking of story arc, they also aren't listed on the weirdly unhelpful quests by story (http://ddowiki.com/page/List_of_quests_by_story_arc) arc page, or the quests by update (http://ddowiki.com/page/Quests_by_update) page. A few of them have snuck into the quests by patron (http://ddowiki.com/page/Quests_by_patron) list, but that's about it. Nothing in quests by location (http://ddowiki.com/page/Quests_by_location) or adventure pack (http://ddowiki.com/page/Quests_by_Adventure_Pack) either.

What I'm really curious about, though, is how the new sagas (heroic and epic version, I presume?) will be added to the Sagas by Quest Name (http://ddowiki.com/page/Saga#Sagas_by_Quest_Name) table, since I mirror that design in my Compendium. Additionally, adding new pages for the sagas themselves would be helpful, plus adding them to the list of sagas (http://ddowiki.com/page/Saga#List_of_Sagas).

For what it's worth, the twelve quests are easy to get from the saga NPC. They're in three arcs of four quests, each of which has 3 flag quests for the final quest of the arc:

Into the Mist, Fresh-Baked Dreams, Death House, An Invitation to Dinner.
(Into the Mist must be done first, An Invitation to Dinner requires the other 3 first, middle two can be done in any order)

Oath of Vengeance, Mad Tea Party, A Raven at the Door, Sealed in Amber.
(Sealed in Amber requires the other 3 first, but can be done in any order)

Sunrise, Raven's Bane, The Final Vintage, Wrath of the Earth.
(I don't actually know for sure which quest is 'last' here, since I'm not in that arc yet, my GUESS is Wrath of the Earth because it's one of the only two level 32 epic quests in the set according to the in-game compendium; the other is An Invitation to Dinner).

I'm definitely getting filigrees and token from side chests. I have 12 filigrees, 16 tokens after 8 quest runs (no repeats) and only two wilderness rares. Only two named items though (those two from end chests)

Edit: just got a filigree from a side chest in Wrath of the Earth. No token though.

This is going to throw a kink into things, but I got the Mantle of Fury from more than one quest. Into the Mist, and one of the early ones (I think it was Death House, but it could have been Dream Pastries as well. Once my holidays start I'll be able to run more characters through to really test/help solidify drop locations).

Unless my mind is playing tricks on me or it was a glitch. Either way, I'll be more diligent about noting where things drop from now on.

Yeah, we just ran it, got all the optionals, end chest never spawned. At the start they're up top behind the statue in the main room, and they never came down.

Fantastic, I just pulled a Cursebane Ring myself out of Oath of Vengeance, so with the new info I was able to place all the items, finally.

Now we can start filing out the actual item pages. :D If you want to do it, it's really easy, just search "list of templates" on the wiki and look for a link to the "item" template, click on the red item name to create the page, copy and paste the item template, and then fill stuff out!

I'd like to help more but I've only made it through the quest series about one and a half times so far with the Tea Party run 3x, and my loot luck is so poor I've only picked up 5 items with 2 of the 5 being the same shield (The Best Defense). Good luck everyone.

First order of business: where the heck does the loot drop?

It can also drop in the chest after the 'confront Strahd again' optional. Not sure about the end chests from different exists though (I got my first cursebane focus from the same chest you did, and a second one from the optional, but the end chest from a second run with a different exit was dry for me).

An Invitation to Dinner and A Raven at the Door both have a single optional that drops the same named loot as the end chest. All the other quests only drop named loot in the single end chest.

I was going to add the items I have found on wiki. I never done it before.. I made account, edit page.. but I cant figure out where you add the item to the page..

Sure, let's have a quick "How to Create an Item Page on the Wiki" tutorial!

It's really easy.

Step 1: It's probably a good idea to create an account if you're going to try doing some editing, just because this will save you from having to do a dang Captcha every time you make an edit. So you'll want to look in the upper right-hand corner and click on "Create Account". I'm assuming that filling out the form is fairly self-explanatory.

Step 2: Uploading your file. Look on the far left sidebar of the wiki (where it says Site Map, FAQ, etc.) Toward the bottom there's a drop-down that says Page Toolbox. If you expand it, there's one that says Upload File. If you click on it, that will take you to a dialog. Before you upload, READ THE FILE NAMING POLICY. There are tens of thousands of files on the wiki, so it's really, really important that you give your uploaded file a functional name that tells people what it is.

Then down below that you'll see a box that says "Source Filename". Click on Choose File and, well, choose the file you want to upload.

Below that you see another box that says "File Description". This is the part where you actually need to do some work, because you have to select the destination filename. That's the file name your image is going to be stored under on the wiki. I generally use the EXACT ITEM NAME. So if you're uploading an image of Van Richten's Legendary Cane, you'd call it "Van Richten's Legendary Cane". Then you add the file extension. This MUST MATCH the file extension of the original file, so .png, .jpg, or .gif. Screenshots are saved as .jpg by default, so it's probably going to be a .jpg, like this: "Van Richten's Legendary Cane.jpg"

Now, some items (helms, armors, goggles, weapons) are visible in the game so it's always nice to also upload a small picture of your character with the item equipped so that people can see what it looks like. The standard is to name those Item Name Shown, like this: "Van Richten's Legendary Cane Shown.jpg"

Add a brief description of what the file is. I generally put something like "Description of Van Richten's Legendary Cane" or "Image of a character wielding Van Richten's Legendary Cane".

Step 3: What I generally do here is to open another item of the same type (so if it's a weapon, go find another weapon on the wiki, and open it in a new tab). Then I click on the "Edit" button near the top right-hand side of the page. I copy the entire item page template.

Then I go to the Update 37 Named Items page and click on the red name of the item I want to update. That will create the page for the item. Paste the item template that you just copied in here, and change the attributes to match the item you have, using the existing attributes to show you how to fill them out.

A word about templates: The wiki makes HEAVY use of templates for item stats. The template allows the data to automatically populate to a category as well as having automatic mouse-over information. They look like this:

So, basically, if it's in squiggly brackets, it's a template. You're going to want to use them too, and they're not hard at all. I don't have them remotely memorized, myself. If you're not sure about what the template for a given bonus looks like, just find an item that has the same bonus (you can do this quickly via google by searching, say, "DDO charisma items". Almost always the first or second search result will be a page named "Category: Charisma Items". Pick an item, click edit, scroll down to where the enhancements are, and voila, you see what the template looks like. You usually only need to adjust the numbers to add it to your item.

Since almost all the Ravenloft items are in sets, I'd just like to add that the set bonus has a template TOO, it looks like this:

I mention that because how you capitalize and space it is important, otherwise it won't recognize the template correctly. So make sure it's "Named item sets" not "Named Item Sets" or "Nameditemsets".

The files you uploaded get added toward the bottom of the template where it says "pic =" and "picdesc =" the "pic" is what the item looks like if it's a worn item that shows (weapon, armor, goggles, helm). If it's not one of those items just leave the pic as the generic item pic. The only thing you do is type in the file name exactly as you created it. It doesn't need brackets or quotes or anything, just Van Richten's Legendary Cane Shown.jpg. The picdesc is where you put the Van Richten's Legendary Cane.jpg file that has the item description.

And now you know as much about updating the wiki items as I do.

I ran 8 Ravenloft quests yesterday and as per my more usual luck I only got one item a repeat of the Dawn's Herald Charm. However, I saw someone wearing a really nifty outfit and asked them about it. They linked it so I took screenshots. I forgot to ask which quest they got it in but it sure looks nice. Too bad about it having Redundant effects Parrying and Insightful Resistance.

Sunrise does not drop 'Platemail of the Barovian Lord'; that's only from Wrath of the Earth.

The final item that drops from Sunrise is 'Kindred Spirit' the light armour for wolf pets.

Sunrise does not drop 'Platemail of the Barovian Lord'; that's only from Wrath of the Earth.

The final item that drops from Sunrise is 'Kindred Spirit' the light armour for wolf pets.

I figured a few were going to be in error. No big, I updated it.

It's possible there's an item missing on the list for Sealed in Amber yet. The only item I've seen thus far that's confirmed to drop in two quests is the Mantle of Fury.
