Getting to Barovia/Ravenloft

I just spent 30 minutes searching the forums, and I didn't find the answer. It's probably there *somewhere* but I guess I just didn't use the correct search terms.

HOW does one get to Barovia if you don't buy the Ultimate pack and use the bottle of mist?

A quest/chain? If VIP, Choice on Character screen? Favor? Purchace Passport?

The answers to this will help decide what version of the Bundle I purchase. I am not a big cosmetic and pet user, so not really interested in the Ultimate because of the cosmetic heavy items, but it's the only one that has the mist bottle. Not sure if it's worth the extra $50 just for the one thing I want.

The entrance to the "Into the Mists" quest is in Eveningstar, near the Cavern. There is also an entrance in House Jorasco, but I haven't used it.

Its my understanding that there will be a entrance in the hall of hero's and in HOuse J and there will be a quest to start the entire thing off , just like Lords of Dust

There is an entrance in both Eveningstar and House Jorasco which will allow you to begin the expansion quests. After completing the first quest of the expansion, those same entrances will allow you to transport directly to the first public space instead of having to run the first quest again each time you wish to enter.

So - I found the entrance by eveningstar cavern - i thought VIP got you all the parts of this game - NOW they want more money on top to the VIP money.,.... sounds like BS to me.

Expansions have never been included with VIP. Been that way for years.

The entrance to the "Into the Mists" quest is in Eveningstar, near the Cavern. There is also an entrance in House Jorasco, but I haven't used it.

The entrance to Ravenloft in House Jorasco is located just N/W of the Stormreach Teleporter and is called "Mists of Ravenloft" on the map. It looks like a small grouping of trees with thick mist coming from the area.
