Does Grace of Battle and Knowledge of Battle work?
I have Sovereign Host on a L2 FS, Grace of Battle, 12 Str and 22 Chr and when I mouse over my equipped longsword it shows STR +1 for attack and damage, plus +1 for the Warpriest Righteous Weapons enhancement. I'm not getting anything from Grace of Battle. (chosen at level 2). Visual bug, known bug, or something else?

I'd like to know this myself!

Easiest way to test is to toggle on divine might to see if damage goes up.

What's the level spread on your favored soul?
They made the alternate scaling cack out if you have less than half of your levels in favored soul.

Just earned level 3, all FS. I have been watching the "to hit" die and I seem to be getting the correct +6 to hit, but haven't confirmed the damage bonus yet.

I haven't taken divine might since I should be using the CHR bonus to damage, not STR, so it would be a waste of the enhancement for my diety's favored weapon. I did notice before my TR that divine might helped my jump ability because of the STR bonus.

Interesting development: On the starter longsword it listed STR as hit/damage, but when I equipped a new +2 longsword it correctly lists STR or CHR as the modifiers. So it might just be a display but on starter equipment.

It's easy enough to take it and reset it after the test. It's the simplest way to check - if damage goes up with divine might it's not using charisma for damage.

As for testing, the absolute easiest way is to go buy two weapons from the Hammer & Chain in the harbor: A longsword and a heavy mace or morningstar. All three weapons have a base damage of 1d8. Go swing the basic longsword at the training dummy for a while. Now switch to the heavy mace or morningstar and swing it at the dummy for a while. It should be doing noticeably less damage than the longsword.

Did teo lives of favored soul. It works great. I went wisdom each life. Far more damage with quarterstaves than other equpped weapons. Wisdom was 42 at level 20 and strength was 32ish I think. My next time through I’ll tweak the strength down a bit more.
