I was taking bets that SSG wouldnt put the expansions on a discount this year. I actually lost, because I thought MAYBE they would do a 50% off. The fact that the new expansion packages stink for new players, and that the old content isnt being offered at a discount this black friday coincide with my opinion that SSG has given up on recruiting new life for this game. Im assuming that they feel there is enough of an audience to keep them alive, but from a players point of view Id say that 1. I sit and stare at an empty group as my lfm gathers dust. 2. I am forced to join reaper groups because thats all anyone will group for now. 3. I CANT SOLO YET.

Sorry... but not recruiting new blood at the cost of already developed digital content which has already paid for itself is dumb.

imagine the drama if they put one expansion on sale, and the other not being purchasable right now. a lot smarter to not put them on sale now, and maybe do something when both are available again.

Also, yeh, kinda bold to ask for something that is not even released yet to go on sale.

I think he is talking about the other 2 expansions, not Ravenloft. Only reason I can think for them not being on sale, is because they still haven't worked out the bugs for purchasing them and getting the codes to work.
