Seems to be - its a shame not being able to double up on the SLAs, but on the other hand, it frees up those APs to put somewhere else.

what i particualrly find strange, is that
divine disciple (light) SLA: Searing light works inside a beholder's anti magic field (is uniquely immune to antimagic's effect) whereas the Sun domains: Searing Light doesn't,
[haven't tested Nimbus of light recently but i'd check it out too cos it might also be immune to beholder's anitmagic]
additionally FYI

the sun domain's Sun Beam and Sun Burst work under Quell's Divine intercession, where the actual spells from Divine disciple tree don't (along with all ur other divine stuff)...
i.e. these two SLA are uniquely immune to the Quell's intercession

as far as cool downs, i play sunbeam the spell and sunbeam the SLA side by side, and at epic lvls the same with sunbolt Spell & sla from exalted angel, for full radiant blasting
(light cleric is my favourate class to play)
if i wanted to play searing light like that, i'd play spell & SLA side by side

i know that exposing these benificial bugs in the SLA might lead to them being corrected, which would make my main toon less powerful, but it clear that the developers did not intend these SLA to work in these circumstances, so revealing this trade secret of the cleric is right thing to do...

until then the most powerful combo is to take SLA Searing Light from Divine Disciple (light) tree, and use Sun beam and Sunburst from Sun Domain
and the spells sunbolt and sun beam from divine disciple at the same time for extra dmg imbetween the SLA cooldowns (and Divine Punishment for beating down bosses)

may our clerics continue to enlighten our enimies xD

do you play capped 20 cleric or 18/2 Clr/FVS variant for just rewards.

do you group or solo ... and if you solo how do you do with your spell point pool and do you do this in reaper?

thanks.
