has anyone noticed that when using a heavy repeater, your avatar now runs with it out in front like he is aiming? ive seen nothing about it on the forums or in the release note for the past 2 patches. its really annoying to me, and I wonder if others feel the same

Do you have the auto-attack feat on?

Chapter 2. How not to shoot your buddy in the ..... Backside!

I also have this issue and it just started after patch 3. Human 20 rogue with a great xbow. I almost threw up with how disgusting it looked. I wont play that toon until its fixed

after some testing, this does not seem to affect warforged or elf. but every human I tried has this issue. whatever they broke with patch 3 should be fixed. its awful. takes me right out of the mood to play

I have the same issue. human rogue/ranger/fighter heavy repeater build. I think they broke human animations when they released aasimar new animations. idk

I like it. I think it looks a lot better and hope they leave it in.

My wife's playing a repeater build right now and really prefers it too.

Maybe they are listening to my request that I made on the Lammania forum ... in fact the way Aasimar holds the weapons and decidedly better and more ... less static and "Pedina" maybe wanted to indirectly test this on repicking crosbow for see what effect made people the new effect.

My arti gnome also has that new aiming-at-running animation, and I hate it.

But you know, I doubt they will change it back :P

well, they spent time 'fixing' other animations this last patch. no reason they cant go back and fix this. but you're right, they probably wont. so ill look for some other build to play that I can stand to run through tr after tr.

I have a half-elf Rogue/Mechanic who now holds the GXbow this way when auto-attack is on. I'll have to look again to see if it's the same with it off.

But is this some kind of second April Fool's Day? "I hate the way my character who shoots things with their GXbow for a living hold it as though they are about to shoot things for a living, so now I'm not going to play it?" Whaaaaat?

My human only has the animation when auto-attack is on.
I find it cool, looks like one of those aiming+walking spec op soldiers.
