Notes
This will be my second db life, for +1 cha
I wanted to do a sorc
I wanted to do a cleric s&b
I wanted to do a pure nuker cleric
But I hear exotic isn't working in war domain
So my bastard sword khopesh killer wasn't going to work
And I didn't want a mad monk on a cleric
And I didn't think the nuker could solo, and would be needing groups, at a time where lfms are down
And I love me a electric sorc on db,
But I got all the gear for monks, specifically henshin
And I wanted something that would do some dps, and heal
And I wanted to test cleric
So I settled on my version 2.0 of wa bam
It'll do fine for heroic
Not a trapper tho...
But will have evasion
A radiant staff user
And I'll get to test out holy sword on staff and wraps
And play a cleric

Looks like this cleric monk will still pack a hell of a punch! Youve got Stunning Fist, anything else up your sleeves for CC and Casting?
Also, will it level better than radiant AA cleric 13/4/3 Priest of the Silver Flame?
I'm going to run this as a staff monk mostly, with an aura
I put stunning fist on my henshins for later play, when you run into high tgt champions
But it's good to use before 6 when I get my staves
I guess cleric has sound burst for cc, but I usual just run my clerics as healers
As for silver flame, a different build

But it levels fine, taking ranger levels early

This is my low level loadout
Just a bunch of avg stuff, except the robes
I keep running treasure pots but rarely find any good items. And cc isn't really good until 10 when you get insightful.

Can solo so far, has good dps.
Was running necro1 and killing undead by turning. I have 2 clerics lives and improved turning with destruction, since I wanted to test it out. Was running reaper1 and was able to kill small groups and about half of larger groups. I was happy. I have a sacred helm at 7, and have seek eternal rest, so I'll keep notes on how I can do turning. I got necro 2 and 3 to look forward to.
Been trying out soundburst. Haven't had much luck yet. Will test further.
Mostly been playing as monk, but I do have heals. No empower until 9, but by then I'll be more cleric, and dps will start to fall after 12. The heals are really just for lifesavers, they don't heal much, but I do heal a lot, what with the bracers. Nice in reaper, but better gear at 8. So far for keeping cleric hires alive in reaper.
It is different running an evasion cleric. But I just play it like a henshin and there doesn't seem to be any real difference. Will be nice I should have an aura sometime in Gianthold. And heal.
But this build is feat starved. Would be nice to go 4 monk 2 fighter. I think about it as I level, if I was going to epics, but only have 18 levels to play with and need 14/4 just for holy sword. So on another build perhaps.
And I miss trapping skills. Would have helped the run but dismissed the build. Could have went mad cleric, but I wanted this to be a better example of clonk, and not a mongrel.

Can destroy mucho undead. Ran deleras and killed everything.haven't done necro2 yet, will try it today.
Only gear would be goggles. I have poor reflex, so anything to help would be good. Normally run trapping goggles, but not this build. At 10 get emissarys robes, and 11 get gs goggles.
Can still solo r1 as dps is still good. But without 4 monk won't improve much. And get 6 monk at 20, so no extra mp.
Will have to switch some ap at 12 for aura. May delay it since ap into henshin is for dps, and not really needing the aura yet. Sometime in gh.
Not much else to say, got slavers gear at 8, will hold until 13 for cc.
Will post at 13.
Extra
Will prob make a slavers ring with cha and sheltering. Since that fills a niche in my monk builds, at least henshin, in heroic, since I splash a level of cleric for divine might. Will also help with Umd. Haven't run slavers yet, will try also today.

I switched around ap to take it, but it is so weak in general as to be useless. Compound that with running reaper and it provides almost no self heal. So just not worth it yet. Points into henshin for dps.
I'll prob take one more level of cleric, to get heal, then monk for tier4. That means holy sword at 18. Won't get much testing in heroics, but I'm thinking of going through an epic life on this build, just to see how it measures at cap. That way I could get a primal pl out of it, and dragonborn racial.
I'm running with the Pansophic, it gets my pos over 200. And the cloak of night, which I don't need int on this build and went with something more useful.
The dps on this toon is still good, I'm still killing stuff timely. It will prob change after 15, when mobs hp start to bloat.
The turning ability has been good. I missed necro2 but did necro3 and everything mostly was getting destroyed. I forgot how nice turn undead is. And now I've got about 20 turns and regenerating, so I can mix it up with bursts. I did test the turn undead group adds, melee power, and it works. Not much, but it's there.
I haven't noticed the durability on the quarter staffs be any better. Usually breaks once per quest. But I've got a pair, so it's always good to have backup. At 15 I get stonebeam, which is pretty durable. Plus a paralyzer. Got a couple improved vorpals at 16.
So far build is running smoothly. Radiant cleric tree really isn't that good, more for a turning cleric, so putting points into always seems to not return much. Too bad aura is tier5, instead of a core. It would be great to go tier5 henshin on this build, but then holy sword wouldnt be needed because henshin gets comp in tier5. So overall, it should work out. Having evasion has actually been a godsend, I miss out on almost all aoe damage, even with a poor reflex save. I think I like it better than wearing armor, and I'm pretty sure I have a much higher AC. Im running in water with wis cranked, and it's paying off.
The only other thing of note, I completely broke my pair of trapblast goggles. Had them 10 years, and I guess wearing them out of the harbor regularly for many levels just took their toll. Only made of glass, they just didn't stand up. Will be farming a new pair next life, since it's one of the items I wear at level 1.

Ok, finally to 14.
With ic blunt brings profile to 18-20 x3
Still very average
Not seeing any big numbers on crits, not seeing avg damage be any different, so I'm pretty nonplussed.
It seems it's the only route for warpriest, but I'd rather be dual wielding khopeshes. Would still like to run that build, but exotic is bugged ATM. Figures.
Other notes about 17. I forgot how many spells clerics get, just too bad they ain't that useful. I mean I run bless recitation and prayer for big fights, but that about it.
And I've got all the situational buffs, like death ward and fom, and true seeing. But those all come on gear nowadays.
So it really feels like clerics are so 2006. Even with holy sword it's not even on par, but guess I'll have to take it.
Not much changed in gear. I have a chieftain, was running that a bit, but gonna swap to prowess since my gs covers wisdom. And maybe the str cloak, but the cloak of night actually procs pretty often, so I've gotten used to it. I was running planar compass a bit, for the prr mrr, but depends on odd stats for the litany.
Running at 3 monk has been fine. Evasion a great life saver. Ran archons and grim chain, had no problem saving vs aoe. So can stand and fight easy enough.
The aura is weak, as I have only 20 hamp. That's a drawback of dragonborn, but it would get better in epics with a mysterious cloak.
I was thinking of running this build through epics, but now that aasimar are out, I'm gonna do 2 past lives as a mad monk to get the +1 wisdom. That will give me +2, so I keep working on my epic henshin build. A long way from racial complete, but trying for the best ones. Should have done a few dex lives, but that will be ahead of me. As well as finishing the third lives for ap. Aiming to have Kil at 30 again for ravenloft.

Took the last stretch in deleras, doing night revels
Watched the stream today and cordo mentioned the xp
So I had farmed about 10 keys yesterday,
And I thought I could cap
And it was all undead and I wanted to test the build
So we started in hayweird, a group max 18, doing cr23
That was a good slog fight,
Even with a full group
But I was charging and turning,
I had seek up but no extra gear
And I was turning maybe 30% of the mobs
The trick is to do them in smaller groups
Then you can turn quick twice like as they come at you
I was having good results doing that
But also keeping up an aura was taxing too
So I used the rest shrines to get back turns
Then we went on a tour
Doing each of the rest
We lost a couple about mid way and did rest on 20
Got me to 20
Was turning 25k in the cr23
And about 21k? In the cr20
So the secrets to this build,
I went ic blunt quicken extend
At the end there you buff with divine power and favor
And they last over 3 min
Along with divine might at 2 min
I was seeing my avg hits getting up to 90
And crits to 300
These stats are just at level 20 in divine crusader
Running consecration is key to longer fights
And its got good adds for a melee cleric
I run vish in dc too
I find it great synergy
I could have went dreadnaought but prob not til dire charge
So I'm only running 13-17 gear. I have cc at 21 but I'm rolling over
Just wanted to give a snapshot at 20
Overall, the build performed better than expected
Having evasion with high AC is just sweet
More of an elite build, what with aura being so weak, to see it in its glory is more at cap, but reaper really kills it. Even though I have almost 900 hp.
Got a show other nite. Running late nite with some scrubs and doing the missing chain on r1. In the final quest and fight with yaulthoon, we didn't do it in the right order and spawned sone serious fireworks. I never had seen that part, as I always go 3 and out. But these guys screwed it up and then we got confetti skies. People were dying all over the place. Neg levels up the yahoo. And I'm trying to do triage, what with lotsa monsters running around and everyone dead. I couldn't keep up with my own problems too, trying to Rez while getting hit with everything. Oh well in the end last man standing but we wiped. But that was one of the greatest light shows I've yet seen in ddo. So overall a super tough build.
