I am trying to find a check box in UI options to enable the store in game. This has prevented me to preview and buy some cosmetic outfits. If anyone in mac already knows how to open DDO Store in game just let me know.
have a good day!

Win 7 here. Store opened up in game automatically. (Sweet!)
.....
Yep, Toggle box is there. All the way at the bottom of "UI Settings".

As mentioned in the release notes, systems that identify as Windows XP are forced to the external browser,
so make sure WINE is set to Vista or Win7 emulation, and maybe that will do it.

the option does not appear to exist in the Mac client.

Another Mac user here, and it doesn't work for me, either. I'm disappointed. I actually wasted around 600 DDO points buying an outfit (swashbuckling) that turned out to be quite ugly, because there was no way to preview.
so make sure WINE is set to Vista or Win7 emulation
Thanks for the idea, but I'm not running WINE, I'm running the Mac DDO client, which has numerous long-standing problems, e.g., you can't adjust brightness. I suspect Mac was simply overlooked for this fix.

Even after I chose (at the end of the UI settings) to open in external browser, I can not get into the DDO store, while opening within the game opens a blank screen. Has anyone experienced this situation and developed a fix or work around? I exited and re-entered the game. This DDO store problem occured after the Oct 4th update. I searched the forums but to no avail did I find my answer...

I have logged in to a toon and tried checking and un checking the the external browser option in the UI settings but still have the same issue when launching in game.
I'm using win 10 64 bit
chrome is up to date

The store opening into a black box is happening with some frequency on the PC client as well.
May have to wait and see what fix they come up with - probably affects both.

We have been investigating the issue where the DDO Store is showing a black screen, but so far have not located the cause of the issue. Just to fish for commonality, if you would:
1. What Operating System are you using?
2. What is your default web browser?
3. What is your install path for the DDO game client?
4. Do you have any browser add-ons installed?
5. Do you have any pop-up blockers enabled?
