Can anyone clarify the info below from the wiki? I start as an Iconic and level to 15, then go use the Lesser Heart. When I go back into character creation I pick a different race? Does "no longer physically be one" imply that I will not get the iconic PL feat? If not what does that mean?

"Lesser Reincarnation:

Iconic characters can remove their first given class with a +1 or better Lesser Heart of Wood. This MUST be done at character creation, by selecting a non-Iconic race. You will retain the appearance of an Iconic Hero, however you will no longer physically be one."

The ambiguity of this paragraph bothered me as well. The description should explicitly state what will be different from the pre-LR character, if anything at all.
Particularly:
* Will you look the same (apparently, yes)?
* Will you have the same racial traits (feats)?
* Will you have the same racial enhancement tree?
* Will you still be able to get the iconic past life?

I've never actually read anything that suggested the answer to any above question would be "no", nor any hint that anything other than the first class level gets changed, so my guess is that the "you will no longer physically be one" comment is pure misinformation.

That said, clarification from someone with actual experience would be helpful.

I've done this with various iconics, for example my Ice Baron bard (pure level 20 PDK), and monk (level 16 monk, level 4 fighter Bladeforged) and it works as described. However the wiki's description is a bit off. You select a non-iconic playstyle on the very first character creation screen (where the choices are Melee, Spellcaster, Specialist, Iconic). You won't be able to select a different race when you get to the race selection screen.

You will retain the appearance of the iconic (but have to select the details of your hair, eyes, etc. all over again)
You will have access to your original iconic racial enhancements and feats.
You will get that iconic past life should you choose to Iconic Reincarnate at level 30.

Thanks for clearing this up, much appreciated
