Mirror of Glamering Sadness

I was looking forward to using a Mirror of Glamering on my Greatbow of the Scrag, as I really like the black wood with the leaves (DDOWiki picture is wrong). However, when I used the mirror on the bow, the wood turned to a regular tan color. I understand this is a tiny, tiny issue, but it still caused me to waste a Mirror of Glamering. Any way to fix this/get my mirror back? Here's the pictures:

Mirror does not keep size either, if you glamour a greatclub of the scrag you get a small club. Found that out the hard way too.

Thank you for reminding me! The Madstone Rod is another item which is normally larger but shrinks down to a smaller scepter when you use a mirror.

Was thinking of glamering Belashyrra's Cleansed Scepter that drops in lord of eyes but i thinking the eye might not work. Unglamered the eye spins around and I forgot to test it when lamania was up not long ago.

has anyone glamered it and was it changed after?

I made a Glamer of "Return to Sender" but it doesn't get thrown. It stays in hand while throwing weapons fly out of it.

I'd like to be able to glamer the Boulders from Abbot or the Essence from Spinner of Shadows. They look really cool.

Similar happened to me with a shield which changed colour from brown to grey hence it is completely useless :(
A sort of preview would be nice so the player can see how the item going to look like after mirroring?
