Hello,

So, I'm trying to get Bellow's Ring for the updated U36 version. But, after ransacking Bellow's Chest on 3 characters, I'm starting to doubt that this previously common drop can even drop anymore.

Has anyone found Bellow's Ring since the update? Is this item missing, or has it moved drop locations? Any information would help.

Thanks.

It probably does not mean much, but I can confirm that Kwan's Band is dropping and updated.

I tried to get the ring too and gave up. Though I didn't even ransack the chest once as it wasn't that important, about 6 loots.
The band and runic trinket do drop though. I got two bands before the trinket -_-

You got runic trinket as endreward or in chest?

The trinket and band are both found in the end reward list of repossession.

As endreward they cannot be with nice reaper/mystic bonuses. 8)

Run that chain every life, mostly because I like it, and frankly I have never seen that ring. Not once, not ever.

It's so-so loot but decent enough for a tank at level 2 but I don't have the new version and honestly have never seen the old one ... good hunting man.

Item's material is typed as Steel, while it looks like it is made from Gold.

Many items have their materials typed wrong. i think this should be fixed during loot update.

So, pretty much no one has seen it? I've found it many times before U36, but no luck after the buff.

Finally pulled one after over 30 runs

Seems I was just on a string of bad luck! Good luck to anyone else looking for this item.

Notice how the "ring" looks gold while the material type is set to steel?

A minor nuisance, but still a thing that shows the lack of attention when designing (and updating) items.

It's steel plated with gold. No adventurer wants to carry gold around, we're stealing the gold from monster's homes not carrying it in with us. Get it right :P

Also I'd 112% rather have the hardness of steel vs the item breaking every time some champ one-shots me.

Get over it, really.

It's something that looks like gold but is as hard as steel - and you want them to lower the hardness? Or maybe changing the image is what you consider a productive use of their copious spare time?

The world is magical. It's a magical ring. Do the math.

This is not the only item that has wrongly typed material. Many items have wrong material set.

Sometimes you even have it written in the description that the item is "made of pure silver", but the item material is not set to silver.

And you don't want it to be fixed because you like the EXPLOIT of having higher hardness on that item because of wrong material type.

But it is not always wrongly typed as higher hardness material. Some items look like steel, but are wrongly typed as leather or something less hard.

Raven's Talons from Red Fens are such an example:
http://m.ddowiki.com/page/Item:Raven%27s_Talons

They are still wrongly typed as leather even after the update.

Are you going to complain in those cases too when the fix will actually raise the hardness?
