Spell Focus: Evocation - Artificer bonus feat

Add Spell Focus: Evocation to the list of possible Artificer bonus feats. And possibly also Greater Spell Focus.

Arties have a TON of class feats already. That's not to say your suggestion isn't warranted, but it might be helpful if you could explain why this is needed.

The one and only time I've seen a player suggestion like this taken on board by the devs related to monk, and the poster had laid out very clearly why a certain thing needed to be included, and included at a particular level etc etc.

Just asking won't make it happen, and reasons may seem obvious but you need to do more than just to say it, since there will be reasons why it wasn't included in the first place (it was raised during the preview discussions of artificer, I just can't remember the reasons they didn't include it).

I think the reason fot this request is that all artificer's damaging spells (mostly electric) are from evocation school and have a save for half damage. So if you want to build an electric offensive caster artificer, you need evocation focus.

I like the idea of such build and I think I would like to try one myself, but if artificers were not meant to get it then it is really not a big deal because you can still pick that focus on your regular feat slots.

It would make more sense to me for artificers to get Insightful Reflexes as a bonus feat. This would help save some of the feats from regular feat slots and it really fits artificer class concept.
