So here it is everyone, I stop almost 3 years playing DDO because of the studies, and now because I'm on my vacation i came back, but after i recovered and visit my account, I didn't expect that in "SARLONA SERVER" i couldn't see any players anymore, it might be a few but almost on quest that is P2P.
(1)I would like to know if there's a way that i can see how many active players on each server, for example in "ORIEN" or others, (2)how many accounts are still active so i can transfer or can you help me make the server rise again? (3) can we make an advertisement to make the game more in-demand? (4)or let's merge the server make it maximum of 3 servers? My main problem here is I want to make a toon, but how can I enjoy the game if i'm the only one who is playing in that map? LOL. The truth is I want to buy a subscription, but LOL HOW? I can open elites on every quest but does it make sense if i can't do any traps or healing or DPS or whatsoever.
One last thing. I know most of the players here are Foreigners, unfortunately, i don't get a chance of meeting up some FILIPINO PLAYERS here. I shouted out on the GENERAL CHAT in the game, but hello? am i the one talking to myself?
P.S - I have the right to express what i see, what i saw. all in all, the game is wonderful cause it gives you logic and anything else. PLEASE HELP ME OR IF THIS THREAD NOTHING HAPPENS. I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO STOP AGAIN....

There is a longstanding bug since you've left that messes up the grouping panel which makes groups look empty. There is a workaround, if you open the social menu (press O) then click on the "Who" tab, wait just a second or two for the list to start populating and then click back to the quest grouping panel, you will now be able to see the players in the groups.
It's a really bad bug because it turns people off who may not know this workaround thinking that all these groups are empty and they have to play by themselves. I think last I played before this summer was two summers ago and that bug existed then and still exists now.
Edit: I am not sure if you're aware of this or not, but just wanted to make sure if that was your issue you knew. It's very possible that Sarlona is just very empty, or empty during the time(s) that you play.

IMO, the only practical solution to the population problem is a big server
merge. Two servers max. They've said they will not do this though as
the technical challenges are too great.

That's not a bug. They put that in game to reduce lag/load times to get in game. Since when you load a character it used to load all the people on the server as well, some people were unable to get in game/took too long. So they implemented this fix, so you load your character and then load the who tab. It's been easier for me to get in game this way. They should put instructions for new players to do this though, on the grouping panel, since it isn't intuitive. But it is WAI.

Thank you for this suggestion but yes this is the only way I'm doing when I'm in game. (sorry I forgot to indicate it in my Post)... I am the one who is making a party, send tell to others if they want to party with me, since they are on my same level. That's the only thing and solution that I'm doing just to finish the **** Elite quest.

Yes you're right, and how I wish that they will notice us and make as one in a big community. ;):D

COOL! But I just read that transferring in other server is still not functioning. Is that true?

server transfers are functioning fine, with a couple caveats.
TR cache will not transfer
Astral Shards will not transfer
Items on the auction house will not transfer
Toons that are guild leaders will not show as available for transfer
That unless I missed a message somewhere, which is possible.
