As the title says i am wondering if the knockdown effect from earthquake makes creatures helpless?

Imho, I believe they are considered helpless based on being knocked down. I use balanced attacks twisted from Primal Avatar ED and when I vorpal hit enemies they are knocked down, they become helpless for a duration as well so Im just connecting the dots unless someone can provide more light on the subject since nothing really touches base on ddo wiki.

Knockdown effects are not supposed to cause monsters to become helpless, and the majority of abilities that use knockdown do not. There are some exceptions, but if I remember correctly, earthquake is not one of them.
