15 Monk for Quivering Palm and everything else a Monk gets.
3 Paladin for Sacred Defense, Saves and Lay on Hands.
2 Wizard for +10% AC, +10 PRR, Quicken Spell.
Some of the feats:
Stunning Fist, Dodge, Mobility, Combat Expertise, Spring Attack, Whirlwind. TWF line.
I'm trying to create an extremely survivable wisdom based Shintao stunner.
Does this look good?

For a bunch of my monk lives I did 18 monk 1 fighter 1 wizard with the same feats in mind. With that being said I can see going 2 wizard but shintao core 18 is really good. However with a build like this you do not have room for all the twf feats because of how feat heavy getting whirlwind is.
If u want to do this I would say go 3 fighter because it's the same prr stance but you get 2 more feats. Lay on hands won't hit very hard because it's mostly based on paladin level. And your saves will already be pretty good so I seee no reason to splash pally.
If it were me I would say 18/1/1 is better because the shintao 18 core is ACTUALLY GOOD NOW!!!! Hooray
It also depends on if you are going into epics. I did my build human and still had feat problems but once I hit epics between QP, tomb of jade, and stunning fist also kukan-do I was having a blast. What I lacked in prr I made up for with well over 150 ac at level 20 (I stopped at 25 and trd because I got bored.)
You can do what you want that's what I love about this game but taking away that much monk isn't the best for dps.

Presuming this is an unarmed build, the last two Shintao cores are pretty strong right now: +35 Melee Power, +2[w], +4 WIS. You also take a big hit to most monk DCs (anything based on # of monk lvls): -5 from the deep splash and another -2 from not having that +4 WIS cap. Plus the 16 or so APs you put into EK+SD have to come from somewhere, which means you're probably giving up Ninja or Henshin enhancements.
So to me it sounds like you're giving up a lot of DPS for relatively modest survivability gains. Your average pure monk has plenty of self-heals from Fists of Light; and when you need more heals, you need a lot more than what LoH on a pal 3 splash provides, IMO. The 35 PRR/25 MRR/+10% AC/+11 saves from Div Grace + defensive stance + EK buffs is certainly nice, I'm just not convinced it's worth the DPS sacrifice.
That said, the beauty of DDO is the flexibility of its char system; and there's nothing here that's broken, AFAICT, so good luck.

Well, you can run in Unyeilding Sentinel, which provides huge defense and heals, light in the dark, like on my crappy version of Axel's battle cleric was critting for 4k heals (well, I mostly used them as nukes on undead) and with any paly levels you can get a nice number of basically full heals on timer regen. I am not saying this is a good reason to take paladin though. I wouldn't bother taking paly unless I was also going heavy armor myself but I am not too familiar with crazy mixes.

I was going to suggest the 3 fighter as well as I am currently level 16 with it right now on an Iconic Deep Gnome past life. It's as everyone says you lose a little dps by not going pure monk but since i had to take the wizard level anyway I think it will be a fun run to 30. The HP and survivability are awesome.

It looks like you are going for AC with this build... I would try rolling it up on lammy land and see where your AC lands with your gear and past lives. I don't think you are going to hit good AC for endgame on that build, last I checked you couldn't in robes. Would suggest 300+ AC, pref 400, if you are focusing on AC to keep your character alive.
