I am now done with being ignored, either your team will fix my issue in the game, or else I'll go to the federal authorities about being scammed out of my money.
I paid for Dragonborn, and now it's down to some "Your character could not be created" message. I've exhausted name generators, randomly chosen from my own mind, still cannot seem to get my character Dragonborn made all because of some name issue. And the way I know it is an issue, is because I've tried using a not-premium character with same in-game name as I wanted for my Dragonborn character and it lets me create the character. Delete no-no character setup Dragonborn character I get an issue, immediately quit the character creation setup and create same name I wanted for yet again a not-premium character I will be able to finish. So it's not a time issue before I can use the same name again. I Kno what I am talking about, so fix this.
Either fix my issue, or I'm filling an official complaint against the Dungeon's and Dragons Online video game owners to federal authorities for fraud. You read this in time or not, it is not my fault, you have until May 10, 2017 11:59PM. After May 10, 2017 11:59PM, I will be filing my claim to the federal authorities.
I have emailed already, and as of May 3, 2017, it will have been a month since I heard a response. So I don't want to hear any excuses, I either get my issue resolved, or I file my complaint. Simple as that.

If you file a complaint, Turbine will delete your account, and maybe you'll get some money back.

Ive been reading a bunch of threads where people are having issues and I really, really feel for you guys- I'm a new player myself and I'm holding off picking up the Xpacs because clearly there is some issue keeping some people from getting their digital goods validated and as a double whammy, support seems to be taking weeks (or in extreme cases more than a month) to get to the issue.
-But the federal authorities? For fraud?
Dude, do a simple chargeback , get your money back and wait until this is all fixed- This isnt fraud- Its clearly not right what is happening to you guys but there are some major issues going on here.
I understand your anger too. I really do- But the Federal Authorities have far more pressing matters I would imagine than something you can rectify via a chargeback with your bank...
edit- I would also like to add that while I am loving this game (can see this being my favorite mmo) the way this is being handled is inexcusable- Theres not even a notation in the store website saying something simple such as "***In extreme rare cases some customers are reporting issues with receiving their digital goods. We are aware of this problem and doing everything we can to rectify the situation- If you have issues please contact support along with the invoice number blah...blah...blah"- Nothing...Something that would take 5 mins is not being done on an issue they are very aware of...For at least over a month this has been happening.
Theres really no excuse for that.
Problems with the store/new company/change overs I can understand. However not taking a few mins to add a small note to the store (for those who are not on the forums and this will be a surprise) is something I cannot wrap my head around and causes issues that are avoidable (like chargebacks/BBB complaints and angry customers)- At least letting people know there is a problem will allow them to choose to make their purchase later (like me- Thanks to forums) or take a chance with their eyes wide open. I would have chargebacked within 72 hours and walked away and wonder how many are doing that. Thankfully I know of the issue (ONLY because I read forums) and you are at least getting VIP money from me and once the issue is fixed will be getting my money for both xpacs. Had I noit known you would have gotten a chargeback, VERY bad word of mouth and lost any chance of future money from me forever.
Dragonborn is a 32 point buy race. Do you have 32 point builds unlocked? The last few times the error message of "Your character could not be created" was seen frequently it was due to people attempting to create 32 point characters without having 32 point builds.

I can appreciate a new player being pretty annoyed if this was the case..
pay money and oh no screw you, you have to do 1750 favor on some in game basic toon before you can use the premium race you just bought.
especially when there is nothing in the purchase interface that says 'X' requirements must be done before being able to use this purchase.

There is nothing in the DDO store description that says anything about having to unlock 32 point builds before being able to play a purchased race..

and i am not nitpicking, but you say on may 10 you will go the feds - when you are posting it on the 29th?

That's news to me. Sounds to me like SSG should have bundled 32pt builds with DB purchase.

Just tested this.
I am still VIP at the moment.
I rolled a character on Orien where my max favour is at 500 and I can not roll a 32pts character:

ps/: DB is only 30pts
28 +2(STR) +2(CHA) -2(DEX) = 30pts
Drow IS 32
28 +2(INT) +2(CHA) +2(DEX) -2(CON)= 32pts
And as far as I know DB is counted as 28pts build as at 3rd life db still have 36pts to spread while drow has only 32 (36-4 for the extra +2 stats). A DB and a Horc has exact same stats except that DB has +4 cha/-2dex

Whether troll or not, funny as hell for thirteen dollars. I'm sure his family has suffered a mac & cheese famine due to buying Dragonborn and not getting the goods. RoFlmAO.

I just created a custom Dragonborn warlock and a pre-built dragonborn warchanteron Thelanis, a server that I don't have access to 32 point builds on. If 32 point build access was required for dragonborn then I should have gotten the same message. Technically, drow are also 32 point builds but there has never been issues there.
As far as the naming, my experience has been that a window pops up saying that the name is taken or invalid and tells you to enter a new name.
I would ask the op if he tried creating a dragonborn using one of the pre-built paths as a test to see if the issue is with the race or not. If the pre-built path didn't work, THEN the problem is with the race and SSG could have a problem.

Did you try creating on a separate server? Sometimes these things can be server issues.
