Lost all your gear in a reincarnation? Again? Even though you did everything right? Not getting anywhere with customer service?

We are here to help!

Just fill out a short information sheet for each of your characters, an inventory of things you don't want to lose, and provide screenshots of your inventory/bank/cache pages! We will maintain your records, and if the unspeakable occurs, just let us know! I will utilize my obnoxious persistence for good, by repeatedly contacting SSG over and over and over and over and over and over with all your documentation. Eventually they'll want me to leave them alone.

Pull a great piece of gear that you want to keep? Finally craft that last tier of LGS? Send us a note with a screenshot, and we will add it to your file!

Payments are reasonable - we accept loot, crafting materials, and occasional xp or loot runs. Plat is not accepted, because plat.

*We cannot guarantee recompense on behalf of SSG. We will, however, send more messages than anyone would ever want to get until you have your gear. Ask anyone. I'm pretty annoying.

**We will also suggest in each message that the reincarnation system be fixed, as well as the apparent inability to log character belongings. And by suggest, I mean nag. Professionally, of course.

***Alternatively, SSG could act proactively and just FIX IT.

Can I file a claim for my planar gird. Several years ago I spent days farming it, and after I TRed I found it to be lost in space and time?

Anecdotally, I was told (a couple of years ago now) by a senior GM that they maintain
no records on character state prior to a TR at all. They can't check what you had as
they don't know. One of the items I lost was a Raider's Reward Box so I was kinda ticked off
to say the least.

To me it's incomprehensible that no restore point is created for a character prior to
a TR to enable a rollback. I guess they're relying on the horrible TR 'cache emptying'
system to limit the incidences of reincarnation going wrong...

Are you looking for area managing directors? I have no quailifications or experience in insurance work but I am lazy and arrogant, would make a great manager.

Excelent idea!

I have (I think) around 300 BTC items (I have to use the buy back method for some of them when I TR).

I also have 1722 items spread across 21 mules.

What kind of premium would I have to pay for complete coverage against item loss :)

That won't cover you in DDO. For DDO, you'd need a special rider that covers 3.5e. However, if you play many of the older Dungeons & Dragons based games, that insurance will step in should anything happen. It would be nice if financial institutions like this would finally make the edition leap...
