Hi, I tend to use a lot of crafted gear, even bows and crossbows are possibly better than some of the old named ones. Armor I go with "Hide of the Goristro" or black scale armor. depends of course what levels you are talking about. I don't tend to stay at high level myself for very long.
Guess you would want a thunder forged weapon if you don't have one already.

You going to be doing epic tr's and want gear for that or are you just wanting endgame?
Epic Sapphire Sting is the priority bow right now, both because of crit range and alacrity. http://m.ddowiki.com/page/Item:Epic_Sapphire_Sting
I like the epic executioners helm and i think everyone will back me up on this. http://m.ddowiki.com/page/Item:Legendary_Executioner%27s_Helm
Normally I'd say epic Litany for the trinket, but the guided sight from the new raid is clearly meant for ranged. http://m.ddowiki.com/page/Item:Guided_Sight Good luck finding anyone running either raid.
I prefer this armor over everything simply because of distant diversion. http://m.ddowiki.com/page/Item:Leathers_of_the_Celestial_Archer I grab so much aggro on my xbow rogue that i even run in shadow just for the threat thing. That and it gives the party a boost with the capstone debuff.
Thunderforged armor with shadow killer is my personal choice for outright dps. The celestial above I still find more overall useful http://m.ddowiki.com/page/Thunder-Forged
Bit of info on the destiny http://m.ddowiki.com/page/Shadowdancer Pierce the gloom is super nice too for the guaranteed hit
Back on topic, this ring is actually not that hard to get and it's dope AF http://m.ddowiki.com/page/Item:Legendary_Ring_of_Prowess
Personally, I run a paralyzer tf xbow just because it's extra cc and it's not like I'm not slaughtering stuff anyway. But i never go above reaper 3 so there's not much incentive to go with the ultra destruction builds. You can get Paralyze imbues though so you might as well go full Monte dps spec.
Other than that? Slavers slavers slavers http://m.ddowiki.com/page/Slave_Lords_Crafting
Just farm this for ingredients to make whatever you don't have.

This is hard to answer without knowing what the goal is. It sounds simple, and it very well might be, but you need to decide that and then build towards it. Are you going crowd control and need DC boosting for paralyzing / fear arrows? Are you running a dps build and a specific element for damage from elemental arrows? Are you going force arrows? Not only gear, but feats should keep that in mind.
My current build is AA/DWS mix with a focus on paralyze / fear arrows and doubleshot for reaper and legendary elite content. My gear reflects that ambition.
The key is to figure out what kind of lvl 30 archer you want to be and then tailor your gear around that decision.
