I know I'm going to be in the minority on this one, but that's okay. I absolutely detest the whole TR system, because in my opinion, it greatly devalues creative building skills.
I suggest making a server where:

- The banks are larger and 100% shared between characters rather than having a character bank.
- There is no such thing as a resurrection shrine.
- "Release" = "Delete".
- And while we're at it, no warlocks. Stupid class. >:[ (Relax, I know I'm in the minority.)
- No late quest joins

You could even make it a VIP-only server or something, just like the good ol' pre-F2P days. Or do what Path of Exile does and stop putting new players behind a pay-wall.

You do know you can achieve almost all this yourself, simply by choosing to play that way. Can even un-click "warlock" class in LFM's - need not apply.

Nothing's stopping you.

Do a quick bit of searching back for previous threads on this topic and you'll find that even a lot PDers are not in favor of such a thing.

House rules differ so much even between PD guilds, there'd be no medium ground to settle a server ruleset on. PDers are a minority play-style group, and the lack of common rules would fragment that group even further.

Totally unfeasible.

If I chose to alienate TR's, I'd basically be playing solo all of the time; there's way more TR's than one-lifers. Yesterday I ran into someone who had 234 past lives; a level 12 with 800 health (most of which were rogue levels), 100+ AC and 40+% Dodge. Solo'd the plane of night dragon on reaper.

I don't approve of a system that makes the game more casual the longer you play it; it's ass-backwards. But if you don't have that, then the argument is "Well what do you do when you get to max level?!" ... Permadeath generally makes that more difficult to achieve. A server dedicated to it would be a lot more successful than a simple guild trying to do it, which once again, Path of Exile is the perfect example for that. If they didn't have Hardcore servers, then very few people would play in a hardcore way.

And just to make my point clear, I'm not totally in favor of Permadeath, I just really hate the stupid TR system. I want something better and PD is the only thing coming to mind.

Meh..

No shared bank
No Guildships
No NPC vendors.. no vendor purchase scrolls/pots
No Trade window
No items sendable in Mailbox
No spawn points/soul binders
When you die a chest drops with your loot in it for the other players to either loot or let you loot if you get raised.
