why I always end up missing one corpse?
couldn't you lower the requirement to one or two corpses?
You can put opt to search all corpses?

You can put opt to search all corpses?that is one of the rites of passage of DDO. Everyone misses the corpses the first few times running the quest. Think of it as legalized hazing.

Think of it as a quest to skip. :)

it's house of k Favor.
I'm really pro make all corpses optional and a few to complete it. what do you say?

Ya.
That one I always make sure to go in with an eye on the floors and corners from the very start.
Search each room before you leave or you will be back-tracking for 10 minutes.

What I do is clear a room, hit backspace while rotating 360 degrees, grab corpses and gems if any than move on. Never have to backtrack.

NPCs are *so* inconsiderate, dying in all sorts of weird inconvenient places. :D
Sniff every flower along the way. (... or what Q said) :o

Sure, but there's way more house K favor than you actually need. Skipping it means you *might* have to run 2 level 9 house k quests instead of just one. (If you run von3 you only have to run one either way.) If you're f2p or don't own von or red fens then you run both level 10 quests in Ataraxia's Haven rather than just one of them. Either way you're getting your bank space at the same level as if you didn't skip.

I end up missing one 80% of the time. And I've been playing for 11 years. :)
I am always pleasantly surprised when we get to the end and actually complete without having to go back and search.

If you leave a corpse behind after a few days it will start to smell. It's just unhygienic.

Don't feel bad, I always miss one and have to backtrack. As others have mentioned, keep hitting backspace as you scan around the room.

Coming from an old school rpg background where you had to search every wall twice to find the button that looked just like the wall to open one passage god knows where, I kinda enjoy how you can't zerg this quest like crazy without pressing the 'next' button.

Searching isn't just a button, it's an activity ^^

Stromvauld's is very low-hanging fruit when it comes to House K favor, so I normally have it as part of the rotation.
I'm still not convinced that there isn't a randomizer associated with one of the gems though, which makes it spawn later in the quest. There have been times when I know, I KNOW I've already searched a spot, only to find a gem there later when I go back. It doesn't happen every run, but often enough to make me go hmmm...
