Recently tried to revive an alt, Bananas, a 17 cleric/2 pally/1 fighter from like 2 years ago. I have lr stone and would like to make it as playable as possible.

I think the intention was for it to be a battle cleric. He is currently using Greataxe from web raid and has cleaves. He is at 27.5 and his equipment is only so so. I have a bunch of equipment from my other guys I could possibly salvage and use on him. He is a human, 32 point build. I was wondering if it wouldnt be better to go shield and board because with it only being 1st life, casting is weak. I dont mind healing so maybe bastard sword and tower that heals group? Took a bit of a break and have only been back last couple months.

Thanks for any help or advice you could give!

A good place to start when it comes to battleclerics is Axel's thread (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/454776-Axel-s-THF-Melee-Cleric-Build). Even if you don't use his build, there's lots of useful info in there.

I think that is what I was looking at when I first made that guy. Right now I was thinking of going longsword because of the deity but I dont have **** for longswords. Although I do have a bunch of bastard swords, dwarven axes, and some kopeshes also. Thanks for pointing me back to that Unbongwah!

Yes, Axel's thread has a lot of good advice for battle clerics, but I feel that the build itself is somewhat outdated, so I went with a Purple Dragon Knight Cleric 14/Fighter 6 maul build (Silvanus Deity) for my battle cleric.
