Best names for a character?

Am currently looking to make an undead Shiradi caster and want a good name, because I'm going to be sticking with it for some time. So cool/funny names about death or nuking would be best, though feel free to post any random names you want. :D So far the best I have is Mortambulist, from mort, meaning death, and somnambulist, meaning sleepwalker. Thoughts?

One problem with posting good names here is that by the time the OP sees one, it will likely be taken by someone else.

All have that brutal death undertone. Realistically though, I'd just start typing in every correctly spelled cool sounding name you can think of, because chances are most are taken. Personally I was never a fan of naming characters "Deeaathwisz" to try and get the basic point across and so ended up naming my characters stuff from german or armenian, as well as random fantasy names. If you have any second or third languages those end up helping a lot to snag a cool name, because anything in english is already taken unless it's particularly obscure (I got Quantifiable about a year ago as well as Consecration and Castigation a few years further back, you're going to be hard-pressed to find anything less obscure than that).

The best names are always the ones you come up with yourself.

I like to just punch in random letters in a word document (say, 4-10 letters per line) until I start to see something resembling a name. Pick out a line that sorta looks like a name as a starting point, and then tweak from there.
