It looks like these two are sharing a fine joke... Whatever could that joke be?

That the title on the screen doesn't match the title used everywhere else.

They're talking about how the addition of Dragonborn to D&D was a gimmicky decision that pushed cartoonish playable dragon-creatures into existing game settings through ridiculous retcons. And their talking about how this was motivated by some executive reasoning that "Dragons" is in the name "Dungeons & Dragons" so 'the kiddies' who like anthropomorphized things like teenage ninja turtles would expect to play as 'dragon-dudes'.
And their talking about how the addition of Dragonborn reduces the sense of awe and alien mystique associated with dragons.
DDO community relations - please initiate a "caption this photo" content with some rewards in place, for that splash screen. Im betting the thread for that would end up in the hall of fame. :p

"Sheesh, all those requests for kobolds as a playable race and jokes about them being dragons. At least they came up with dragonborn finally."
"Yark."
