Clerics smiting undead with light-based spells - seems about right.

I recall my sister having similar problems when she was on her Wizard life. Her solution was to play smarter by turning off her undead shroud when she knew she'd be facing clerics/light-based casters. Of course, there were several instances where it caught her by surprise, but it was all in good fun.

Another option is globe of invulnerability. Just be aware the globe also block your negative healing spells.
