Find out what type of goodies the Devs like and send them a care package with a little note asking them to activate the 10 anniv. ticket for a small windows of time. See's candy is always a good choice.

I too missed out last year. But there is always the 20th anniv. to look forward to.

I have one entire server, Sarlona, where I have the 8th Anniversary cards completely unused. I know I did not have a IX or X on that server(I am pretty sure I didn't), but I could have some Portable Holes and Jewelry kits made up. Not to mention, the +3 tomes.
