changing name of main toon

Hi All,

A question Please.

I am trying to change the name of one of my main toons but cannot as the ddo store only has name changes for pets??
do you know how else I can do this?

Last I did this the name change items were under the Character tab, then under name change...

My guesses:

It could be one of those bugged items that doesn't show until you're higher level even though item isn't level-restricted.

-or-

The character may already have a name change chambered for use somewhere from it's history? (Easy to check, just type the name change command.)

edit: Pretty sure both my gueses are NOT the culprit. I just logged in trying a lowbie and a high-level, and no name change showed for either. Plus, I know I have no name changes active, so... Maybe they're completely bugged out, or they're currently inactive.



I know they've pulled name changes from the inventory at times, but last I saw they should be active currently.

Exactly my point in the DDO store you cannot change your toon name so where do we go from here? a bug? or have DDO removed this from DDO Store as I do know that this did exist in the store a long time ago.

But what happens now if you need to make a name change? write to Turbine?

You can look into making name changes less expensive too. If I remember correctly, a name change was around 995 points, more than most of the adventure packs. Seems a bit much for essentially nothing.

Seems like it is not just the items mentioned in previous posts above that are missing, but also Bells of Opening - a guildie mentioned that to me the other day and I couldn't find it on the store as well. Just wanted to point that out, and perhaps there may be other items not properly displaying in the DDO Store!
